When and How to Prepare Your Bees for Winter: Part 2

This is part 2 of when and how to prepare your bees for the winter. After fall feeding with a 2 to 1 sugar syrup, we like to add a fail safe of dry sugar to our bee hives. Not only does this provide emergency feed stores for the honey bees, but it also helps to absorb moisture in the beehive.
