Love this!! My clinic is in a crossfit gym but I am slowly converting more and more clients/patients to low bar back squat with linear progression for rehab and performance purposes.

"The number one thing a PT can do in his/her clinic is to give his/her patient strength."

A friend of mine is fitness enthusiast and a PT in New Zealand. He said since the rise of crossfit in his town, it's been great for business in addition to the broken skiers/boarders and down hill mountain bikers he sees as patients!

Thank you for sharing this information. There are some serious problems with current PT facilities. Finding a good PT is practically impossible. Maybe there could be a list of recommended or established PTs who are doing things the right way. It gets frustrating when you have an injury, don't have the knowledge to fix it on your own, but the people considered experts are incompetent.

You cannot build an easy to learn/use machine to effectively replace a barbell.
You cannot swallow a barbell in pill form.
You cannot throw a certification at a barbell and expect it to yield to your 'expertise'.
A rich man cannot 'pay off' a barbell to cheat results out of it.
People secretly don't like barbells for these reasons and more, and they are actually some of the reasons that the barbell works so well.
What does work with a barbell-
    Competent coaching
    Competent skill
    Practice
    Strength
    Efficiency
    Health

If all these crossfitters are snapping themselves up, I should be an orthopaedic surgeon.
