- Hi all, sorry this video took awhile. Ima be honest, the video process has been a lot more tedious than in the past few months. The outcome isn't something I'm proud of but I already held this video up longer than it should've been. I'll figure out a way to shorten the time so that I can focus on personal life as well as family. Cuz right now, I'm a hermit.

Watching your videos reminds me that some kids get abused, then just grow up and develope some pretty gnarly, unhealthy internalized trauma responses and mentalities. Discipline isn't suppressed to be something physical or demeaning, especially for children. Violence against children of any kind is NOT SUPPOSED TO BE NORMAL. @@skaroGD yeah, super common with trauma survivors. The saddest thing about it is that trauma is isolating, even from your siblings you are suffering abuse with. I remember having the same relationship with my brother as hers, we endured together but the abuse splits you into your own little world. From this, usually traumatized individuals go through the usual systematic approval of corporal punishment(violence against children) and pick up those same justifications - "children should know their place" "children shouldn't be disrespectful" "children are an investment" "they'll turn out bad if you don't hit them" all that narcissistic mess is instilled, combined with isolation, victims usually keep contact and are even close with the abuser. In that emotionally compromised person, they start to developed traits exactly from their abuser or suffer more of the same abuse from others, continuing the generational cycle of violence and abuse until another generation of that family can find the education and strength to heal and break that familial cycle of abuse.

I agree some trauma survivors may have been beat but a good spanking every once a while is good I was spanked and my sisters aren’t as often as I was and they have no respect for their elders at all but I learned to be behaved thorough spanking now I agree using a golf club is messed up but using the right utensil will bring pain and show that it is not right to do what ever was done to warrant it

Those children then unfortunately grow to find it normalized and then go on to defend violence against children.
It's a cyclical issue, violence begets more violence and fear makes the respect cheap. It isn't genuine, because you don't value people in their own right - you learn to value conditional respectability politics and false image. Please seek therapy, and may God protect the children of your family.

Also when you're with a kid alone in public and you're only a teenager babysitting for someone else. You know that feeling of everyone judging you as a teenage parent dealing with a toddler throwing a fit.

How I deal with [annoying, screeching] kids (grades 2-4) in a middle schoolers perspective:
*Their throwing a tantrum*
Stage 1: Tell them to stop and be quiet, and then try to ignore them
Stage 2: Tell them to stop (again) and to shut up mean while trying to contain the raging monster of anger
Stage 3: Yell at them then try to ignore them (+ what happened in Stage 2)
Stage 4: Yell at them (again) but now start to insult them a bit
Stage 5: If it gets to this, I couldn’t contain my anger and resorted to violence
Oh and I we also blackmail each other so I’ll probably try that before violence
My cousin and my little brother act like a tag team and just try to embarrass and hurt me. If their not doing that then their doing something weird or dirty (as in like dirty minded or inappropriate) I have scars from them but they still act like their ✨sweet, innocent, angels✨ (this is probably unnecessary to state but I’m bored and what do you do what your bored? Say random things on the internet)

@Alexander Ruiz I'm 19, not 200, and we teach them basic social skills, how to work alongside others, the basics of shapes, numbers, the alphabet, and reading. Almost all of the children I work with actually already know how to say hello. With the exception of the 1 1/2 year olds, but at that age it's developmentally appropriate.

And then there were my siblings and I, who were quiet and usually just did what we were told if you used your words. My mom didn't need to discipline us or threaten us. We just wanted praise.
Then again, our dad was a narcissist emotional manipulator that would guilt trip us if we asked for things, or he would fake being a better parent long enough for us to believe him.

I get kind of tense when anyone wants me to watch kids. This is partly because I wasn’t around them a lot when I was younger, and also because when I was twelve my family unleashed five or six small cousins hyped up on sugar for me to watch alone. I just remember getting overwhelmed and curling up against the wall. I also don’t do baby talk, even with my niece and nephew when they were actual babies. Personally I think it’s probably bad for their language development anyway.

I have five siblings, 2 brothers who throw a fit when they don't get their way even though the other is really close to getting to collage and the other one that makes me self concious and thinks he's cool and he's almost in middle school, and 3 sisters under the age of 7.
Guess who's the middle child.
I would rather die than baby sit my annoying sisters and my friends younger siblings. Except for one friend's little sibling, he chill.
Over the years of my experinces, I have learned to hate kids, espeacally the spoiled ones (sorry for my horrible spelling).
