If you dont know , a Rake is a person who is dead from a terrible injustice by an evil person or group of people who is allowed to return to Earth as a supernatural being and enact vengeance with the condition that they be condemned to Hell once they complete their mission of revenge against the living that wronged them .
I encourage anyone referring to allegedly true sightings of these things to call them Crawlers because the Rake is actually an entirely different thing altogether (both are described & explained in great detail in Hammerson Peters' deep-dive video titled CRAWLER SIGHTING in Canada's Northwest Territories).
Some people add the prefix Cave or Pale before the term Crawler, but those descriptors can't be universally applied to all allegedly true descriptions of these beings.
I feel like they are elementals, like they belonged here, but not in this dimension. (?) Also the ones we saw made clicking sounds. This happened on the edge of a thunderstorm outside of YNP a couple years ago. I've been searching for answers ever since.

I dont wanna sound crazy or anythin when u mentioned the Daniel boone national forrest we live very close to it. Me and my husband were at the park last night late hours and we saw him when we flashed him with the headlights it ran. It was very tall and scary

The narration and stories are good, but the monster sounds make it all sound fake.
Some reason of the jet show of monsters and mysteries had it on there. Most of the show is based on truth actually majority where the abuse paper article's comment everything and I was surprised to see the Rachel on there and the. Girl to tell a story but I don't think it's true. The rate does not exist it plays off fear that's what they were trying to get at it

The creature your describing is not a Rake , your confusing them with a skinwalker or Wendigo .
Still not the scariest thing in Kentucky right now.
