- A Garbage review of Fallout new Vegas. I still don't know anything about New Vegas lore or story as I used Movetoqt to get through the game. I hope you find this parody funny but if you don't whatever. I like New Vegas more than Fallout 3 but it did have it's moments.

The Powder ganger slide at the end killed me. It wasn't until my 5th play through did I discover Vault 19 and THAT branch of criminals.

Funnily, the 'very sharp knife' actually became a lore reality with cosmic knives.
If you're trying to prevent the assassination, one guy in the crowd actually does try to just run up to President Kimball and kill him with a very sharp knife.

+Chaz Morris As its own game, an open-world loot-hunt shooter in the style of Borderlands, it's ok. As a Fallout game and an RPG, it's shit. Another step on Bethesda's quest to dumb down and simplify every mechanic in their games. The dialogues, skill system and SPECIAL balance were completely butchered, quests are more linear and uninspired than ever before, writing is cringe-worthy, 80% of quests and activities boil down to "go to a place and kill everything in sight" and there's little to no possibility for actual role-playing. But the weapon customization and power armor are pretty cool, so there's that.
I was just asking beacuse all of Fallout 4 is settlements that need your help.

Install the Milkman mod. You get a gun that does just that. It literally shoots mad cows. I'm not sure HOW you'd get it in the casino but there you go... death by mad cows.

It is a pretty random vault. And the quest in it is basically help this powder Gang faction acquire sulfur deep in the vault to make bombs with or destroy the sulfur so they have no way to make bombs and end up surrendering to the ncr. I just go in and sneak kill them all for their decent armor and weapons at early level

What's even funnier is that Andrew Ryan is played by Armin Shimmerman, and House was played by Rene Auberjonois... so they're basically Quark and Odo from DS9.

yeah but I think if obsidian makes the next fallout they should keep the same idea of ncr vs legion and have it set as the ncr lost in fnv and have been pushed back in or towards California.
That would be great to return to California, there would be so many problems in California such as like ongoing raiders, corruption, food shortages, revolts, and the brotherhood of steel has allied with the few enclave for sweet revenage for the battles of helios.
There would be of people talking about the vault dweller and the chosen one, how they saved the wasteland.

Corrupted Archangel The NCR didn't have the luxury of advanced tech to start with. For a post apocalyptic nation where the most powerful faction besides them only uses scavenged equipment, they're doing quite well. I wonder if they will be in any more fallout games.

I picked NCR every time because Mr. House’s Vegas is like Bioshock without the water, I don’t want to piss of the rangers and after seeing that wolf guy things got a bit blurry and next thing I know I’m in a legion camp looting Lanius’ sword of the east off a corpse with Caesar’s displacement glove embedded in its visual cortex
It kind of bothered me that there wasnt an option to use the robot army i got from yes man to help the ncr. I mean like come on wouldn't it be nice for ncr troops to not die

As a resident of modern Vegas and a newcomer to the Fallout franchise during the Covidquarantine, I was looking forward to seeing how they imagined Vegas only to be disappointed that very little of the story or plot actually happens in Vegas as you say. You spend a lot of time in places that WE never go because, seriously, who goes to Nipton for a hooker (or for anything)? However, it was interesting to see that in the FO universe the notion that "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" because that cannibal casino was pretty spot on with the weird crap that happens in our casinos now.
what kind of weird stuff happens in your casinos right now? genuinely curious, dunno if i can see myself visiting but i'm always down for a food story

I have replayed New Vegas 7 times once. Never. Once. Felt. Discouraged the only reason I quit for small bursts of time was when life came into play or I needed to consider my options. Whenever I begin a new character I can always change that character to be immensely different from the last making the feel fresher than last time.
To a fan of Fallout / classic RPG's, this game is the best of its series! Especially when you know where Fallout comes from! Going in unable to be immersed don't come out immersed!
