Have you had any problems with the Kurz? I’m thinking of getting one. Do you know of any good mods to do to it?

      Hi.
Maybe I should make a video review.
It's a Chinese pit bike. Parts will need upgrading or replacing.
I bought this kurz cos its a road registered pit bike, which is awesome. I need this in my life.
The engine didn't last long. 500 miles, it's making rattling noises.
The engine is slim. The chain alignment is slightly off. The frame would suit a wider engine, like a yx140 or yx160.
I've just bought an ooracing tuned zongshen 212cc engine for it.
The fork seals didn't last long. I bought a replacement pair for £70, with the intention of upgrading to £400 forks when I can afford. Also the rear shock, I'll replace for something adjustable.
The horn. Is attacked by thin sheet metal. With bumpy roads, the horn bent forward, caught on my front mud guard and snapped off while turning left. Lucky, cos my steering jammed in middle of a junction.
It's a smart bike and room for improvement.
I think DB Racing would agree, you get what you pay for. A cheap and cheerful Chinese pit bike with room for upgrades.
If you're gonna upgrade the bike. I think it's worth it. A zongshen 190 from ooracing is a great engine. Smooth 5 speed box, just great for the road. Cruise at 75mph. Get the wide sm wheels for the road.
If you can't afford to upgrade, I'd take it steady. If you hammer this bike, it won't last long. With that said, replacement parts are cheap.
Take it steady, I consider the bike reliable. But I couldn't. I took it off road and absolutely hammered it.

@@rudemotos137 please could you do a review on the bike explaining into detail? Also a video once you’ve put mods on and how they’ve changed the bike?

@x.ds1 I've just installed an ooracing zongshen 212cc engine. With 16t front and 37t rear sprockets. 100 dc generator with new cdi and rectifier.
      Smooth 5 speed gear box.
      Cruises at 55 / 60mph.
      Accelerates to 75mph.
      Gapped my dad's crf250L.
      Lots of power and torque.
Power wheelies exiting the roundabout. Rips in corners.
      So far amazing.
      Saving up for better suspension.
I dropped the front forks 2mm.
      Corners better.
Smiles all round. It's transformed the bike. Feels like a mini 450

@@rudemotos137 wicked mate and how much have you spent overall with the parts? Would it be possible to make a video so I can hear how she’s sounding now?
