I have seen it all now mate 😂haha to funny boys
And what needle position if you dont mind
K25 needle 1st clip. 2nd clip in winter. 155 main
@rudemotos137 is that with the standard air box or open air filter?
@thesweeneyboys2974 Standard air box with snorkel. Both holes opened up. I lost power removing the airbox. I read its designed to provide smooth airflow.
I was on a k21 needle with 165 main jet pr3mix 35:1 putoline mx7 ran like a dream top speed of the magic 110mph number with italkit 140 tyga vhm 1mm squish v force reeds and ram air filter but i put the k25 in got alot better low to mid but upper rpms it seems to flood the engine on 165 i put a 160 main in it was better but surely a 155 would be too lean for a open air filter?@@rudemotos137
Was your bike still rich with the 155 main jet in it?@@rudemotos137
What makn jet was in it to achieve 112mph
Think everyone should learn to ride a bike as part of their car test. I experience all sorts too when out on my motorbike.
It would definitely make car drivers more aware. Maybe more emphasis on motorcycles in the hazard perception test.
Imagine 144husqwarna engine in this
🤤
If everyone in the uk were to take a driving test again, i reckon over 70% would fail
I agree.
Wow , A no brain piece of sh*t motor cyclist on the road 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂
you are forced to put the italkit 140 cylinder head or i can put the kit with the stock cylinder head ?
The italkit comes already with his own head
Have you had any problems with the Kurz? I’m thinking of getting one. Do you know of any good mods to do to it?
Hi. Maybe I should make a video review. It's a Chinese pit bike. Parts will need upgrading or replacing. I bought this kurz cos its a road registered pit bike, which is awesome. I need this in my life. The engine didn't last long. 500 miles, it's making rattling noises. The engine is slim. The chain alignment is slightly off. The frame would suit a wider engine, like a yx140 or yx160. I've just bought an ooracing tuned zongshen 212cc engine for it. The fork seals didn't last long. I bought a replacement pair for £70, with the intention of upgrading to £400 forks when I can afford. Also the rear shock, I'll replace for something adjustable. The horn. Is attacked by thin sheet metal. With bumpy roads, the horn bent forward, caught on my front mud guard and snapped off while turning left. Lucky, cos my steering jammed in middle of a junction. It's a smart bike and room for improvement. I think DB Racing would agree, you get what you pay for. A cheap and cheerful Chinese pit bike with room for upgrades. If you're gonna upgrade the bike. I think it's worth it. A zongshen 190 from ooracing is a great engine. Smooth 5 speed box, just great for the road. Cruise at 75mph. Get the wide sm wheels for the road. If you can't afford to upgrade, I'd take it steady. If you hammer this bike, it won't last long. With that said, replacement parts are cheap. Take it steady, I consider the bike reliable. But I couldn't. I took it off road and absolutely hammered it.
@@rudemotos137 thank you for the reply mate it’s honestly helped a lot. How’s the bike doing now and what mods have you done to it so far?
@@rudemotos137 please could you do a review on the bike explaining into detail? Also a video once you’ve put mods on and how they’ve changed the bike?
@x.ds1 I've just installed an ooracing zongshen 212cc engine. With 16t front and 37t rear sprockets. 100 dc generator with new cdi and rectifier. Smooth 5 speed gear box. Cruises at 55 / 60mph. Accelerates to 75mph. Gapped my dad's crf250L. Lots of power and torque. Power wheelies exiting the roundabout. Rips in corners. So far amazing. Saving up for better suspension. I dropped the front forks 2mm. Corners better. Smiles all round. It's transformed the bike. Feels like a mini 450
@@rudemotos137 wicked mate and how much have you spent overall with the parts? Would it be possible to make a video so I can hear how she’s sounding now?
What main jet did you have in on this run?
A 155 K25 needle 1st clip 2nd clip in winter
Thankyou mate ive got the exact same setup as you but i have a ram air pod filter on no air box had the 160 main jet in the other day and still too rich i was running 165 main on k21 needle and getting 109mph but because of the needle change to k25 the end of the needle is very small compared to the others so lets more fuel threw at full throttle so the 160 was too rich even with the pod filter so i think im going to drop back to 155 main same as you because its just abit too rich at the top , the k25 needle is brilliant though at mid range pull turns the bike into a 4 stroke lol wise @rudemotos137
2 stroke all the way!
Great movie. You can see the experience and knowledge.
Check the new Short video of a top speed run 👊🏻
To be expected...
🥴 Silly me
Bike must have been light, what is it?
Pretty heavy, it's a 954 fireblade. I was surprised the wind blew it over. I should've strapped the cover down.
@@rudemotos137 damn, thought it was a 50cc the way that wind just chucked it on its side.
@@cheekyjay2463 It's sat in the wind many times. It's a heavy bike, leaning into the wind. Must have taken some force.
Top speed ?
I hit 110mph and backed off. It pulled 100 in 5th. I've sold the bike now. Wish I'd pushed for a top speed. I know the lad who owns it. I'll ask him to push it this summer ☀️
hit 112mph after a re-jet. 🙌
@rudemotos137 what jet did he end up with? Lovely bike btw
Italian power 😍
I believe the engine is from Austria
@@timvanberkel6861 but the bike not
Miss my old 02 rs had the same italkit 140 ported n polished had dyno sheets for 33 hp but then the oil pump packed up 8 months later that was the end of that but now I'm on a mt07 and a mk1 rs250 so can't complain 😅
I'm rebuilding a 2002 rs 125. Might remove the oil pump. It's much easier to premix and dial it in. I would love to ride an rs250. Really would love a go. Bet you having some fun on that. There's a silver mk1 on ebay under £7000... Very tempting. Need to sell some bikes and make room. I bought a ktm exc 250 2t for next summer. Love 2 strokes 😍
Hi mate sorry its late. Did the oil pump actually fail, or did the line break or get clogged. I've never heard of these little oil pumps failing, they're pretty good.
@@billnye142 oil pump shit its self out of all the years I've had rs's it's the only time I've ever had it happen swapped the pump bled it n never had an issue again and if was you I'd avoid going down the premix route yes its great when your on the gas but when you let off you got to remember the engines still doing the same rpm with less fuel and less oil going through it where atleast with the pump its always giving the right amount
@@joeendler9024 Strange. Did the plastic gear snap or something? Not much to go wrong in them other than that. Also im no mechanic and I might be wrong but how would the type of oil feed effect the risk of engine breaking. The oil from the pump just trickles oil straight into the carb float bowl and it mixes there. Same as if you mixed up oil in the fuel tank. Both just end up in the float bowl before combustion. The only type where the pump is always giving the right amount in any bike is oil injection, which on newer 2 strokes injects straight into the crankcase and the amount is dependant on both throttle and RPM, meaning you wouldn't loose any oil from letting go of the throttle at high rpm, unlike with an older 2 stroke like the rotax 122.
@@billnye142 i know where your coming from no it wasn't the plastic gear that drives the pump it was actually the pump itself cause even my dad was shocked cause he didn't belive me and I think you'll find with the rs it dosent inject oil into the float bowl but directly into the intake on the engine side of the carb
hello could you tell me the configuration? which connecting rod do you have? the cylinder has much more hp than the original? what squish do you have?
Hi. OEM rod, standard bottom end. italkit 140 vhm head 1mm squish Rave 2 valve dellorto vhsb 34 Arrow exhaust. OEM reeds. k25 needle, 2nd notch from top 36 pilot 55 main. Big difference in hp, torque. Huge difference between mitaka and italkit. mitaka is rubbish. Engine didn't breath properly. Italkit has much bigger transfer and exhaust ports. italkit is great. Engine runs smoother.
where can i find the vhm head for the 140? as they have a different diameter

@@rudemotos137 hi bud , I've got a literally identical set up to as you had here, if I may , did you ever compression test to ? What psi did you get ? Cheers man
I had one of these when I turned 17 20 years ago had it pushing 125mph never missed a beat what a bike I’d love to buy another I love that 2 stroke noise 🤣 miles better than the cagiva mito that I had first. This brings back good memories.
I'm 38 years old and still loving the 2 strokes. Amazing bikes. I do like the 7th gear on the mito though 😁 I'm happy it flashed a good memory 👊
@@rudemotos137 i am 51 a,and got a tuned up rs125
They are incredible bikes, but you never, ever, had it 'pushing 125mph'. Not unless the pushing was out of the back of a plane, and the 125mph was straight down xD
@@tcgfade0utno, It can really run that fast, my father had the 2002 One and It could go 180-200 (km/h)
@@rafmod0073 I have a race tuned 2002 RS125 right now. It's my second, my first I bought new. I've been riding that exact bike from that exact year from then until now. They do *not* do 125mph. There are literally online owner groups dedicated to laughing at the speed claims people make about this bike. It's an incredible machine, but it simply doesn't go that fast and never has. Unless you have a completely custom engine, tuned by a MotoGP team, and with a life span of a couple of hours max, your Dad is factually _wrong._
Hi! Thank you for your video. That cilinder is reliable? Or it’s too delicate? I want to buy it but i’m too afraid of seize it.
No it's amazing. The tuning is better, less load on your bottom end. My engine was very smooth, much happier with italkit. Feels like the engine is running how it was designed to run. I live 161 meters above sea level. Settled with 155 main 36 pilot k25 needle 2nd notch from top. Beast. The rave 2 power valve works well with italkit. Nice power curve throughout the mid.. valve closes, opens at 8k, closes at 10k... but opens up again 10.5k... all the way to 12k. Sonetimes the wind resistence stopped me getting into the 10.5k powerband.. 17-40 sprockets. 17 was too big. Try a 16t or 15t, you get into the powerbands easier. Buy one. It's great. You can cruise at low rpm. Pulls up hills way better, no sweat. Better for commuting. And if you wanna race, you can. The bike wants to be reved.. it's happiest at high rpm. Optimal temperatures, help the engine run clean. Also I used an Enduro type 2 stroke oil. It's a lower flash rate. The flat out 2stroke oil takes some real heat to burn, my rs only happy with the lower flash rate oil. I'd love to hear back from you. Defo buy one.. Don't mess about with the cheaper alternatives, they waste time and money, and you never get the results you want. Italkit, from pjme, all the way 👍
i have that cilinder too and it's very reliable
@@rudemotos137 thank you for your reply! This bike it’s so fun that it’s a shame that it’s not produced anymore. My project with this bike it’s to rebuild the entire engine, new water pump, new teflon cranks and so on to ride my bike every weekend and travel with it (and some race 😊) I will probably build my bike in this way: - complete Italkit 140cc kit (head included) - revised crankshaft, with a better piston rod (machined from solid, made by NRteam) - 34 carburetor - modified pneumatic rave valve (by NRteam as well) - jollymoto exhaust 111 or the scarov/scalvini (most probably the second one) What do you think about this build? I appreciate your advice!
@@rachebartmoss1739 It sounds lovely.🤩 While you've got the crankcase split, match the ports on the barrel with the crankcase. Might need a dremel. Also make sure no overlap with the gasket. Better air flow. I made that mistake for years. I've played around with squish clearence, Used the thin gasket and got 0.8 clearence... good results mid torque, fun to ride... but lowering the squish clearence, lowered the exhaust port, and had poor results high rpm. Medium gasket, 1mm squish best results. Italkit is ported for you. No messing about. You're gonna love it 🏍🔥 You could buy a zeeltronic cdi. That would be a nice upgrade. I think over the coming years, as rs become rare, they will raise in price. Like you say, they're a great machine. And beautiful to look at.
@@rudemotos137 thank you for your advices! The zeeltronic cdi it’s a good upgrade for sure, but in my city no one can program it 😔 My rs will stay with me forever ❤️
Top speed?
I backed off at 110mph. Maybe a little faster on a longer straight road. I've just sold this rs. Someone else is enjoying it 😄
hit 112mph last week. I'll upload the video
@rudemotos137 what main jet was it running when it hit 112
@user-zy3ve2su7n It had a 157 main, and the needle was second notch down from the top.
@@rudemotos137 157 km/h?
Nice video ,Which one has italkit ?what config you have both ?
Hi. The White bike recording is italkit. 125 is 34mm dellorto, power valve. 140 is 34mm dellorto, Rave 2, vhm head. Huge difference. Highly recommend italkit 140 from pjme.com
