To everyone, the Apple Watch water mode doesn’t make it more waterproof, it always is the same water resistance, it locks the screen so it doesn’t think your touching the screen so it doesn’t accidentally call or something
You can use this in water like swimming unlike what people are saying in these comments, it literally has a mode for swimming my Series 2 had this feature and I used it

It won’t damage it. Your speakers and microphones won’t be as clear until they dry. That’s the only thing.
