Which fast food restaurant makes your favorite soup?
The soup guy from Seinfeld
Chili isn't soup!!
Wendy's chilli cheap and decent a little higher should be obviously not the best but not the worst
for the chick fil A soup, It is actually one of the worst ones I have had
Panera! Although I haven't tried everything listed of the soups. I really like their tomato, butternut squash & chicken noodle soup. I usually actually love broccoli cheddar soup, but Panera's seems artificial to me. I can see many people love it though. I don't find Panera fast food by the way.
Wendy does a solid not wasting left over burgers cut up put in the chili, the same as cooked hamburger put in the chili. I’m all for utilizing good food and not throwing it away.
I love when they do that. It adds extra meat. Nothing wrong with that.
Food waste is a pretty big problem. Im all for recycling the burger meat too.
I've gotta call bull on the Wendy's chili. They started serving it so they wouldn't waste the hamburger meat that was cut off from the patties. You can taste the celery, onions, and garlic in it. Is it the best chili? Definitely not, but it's decent.
I agree
I've got the 2.5 gallon zipper lock bag, they store the cooked
hamburger patties in. In fact, I've got a few. I know the ratio
that they use to figure out the number of small patties, to
large patties. (All that info is on the bag.)
I know the theory, I know how they make the chili, and why.
If there was a Wendy's close, I'd eat the chili, with leftover
hamburger patties in it. (Except, I prefer pork over beef in
my chili.)
steve
Lilly, the patties come pre shaped. No meat is cut off.
The stuff in the chili, is cooked patties that didn't get
used. I've got proof.
Still, I do NOT dislike Wendy's method of using that
cooked meat!
steve
i was gonna say the same. i really like wendy's chili.
Not many fast food restaurants sell chili. Also, some have claimed that they chop up older patties and throw thrm into the chili while others have claimed that they didn't do that, so I'm just going to assume that it depends on the restaurant and even depends on who's running which shift.
I do miss the chili sold at Costco food court despite its high sodium content.
I love Wendys chilli! She was tough! Great!
True
Facts
It's cheap and pretty good what more can you ask
I like the Wendy’s chili on the baked potato. It was a good quick post-workout meal until I could have something more substantial.
Wendy’s chili rocks. Tasty, low in fat, high in fiber. It is also a great choice for diabetics.
Wendy's chili was definitely underrated, maybe misrated. Add the proprietary Chili Seasoning, which is the secret ingredient, and it's a knockout anytime of day.
yeah, I'm all in on Wendy's chili
I like it!!
Loved it since childhood!
Especially when they add the leftover burger meat.
Who else agrees that the best soup comes from your moms kitchen?
Panera's 10 veggie soup was supposed to be light, as a cup was about 60 calories and a bowl was only 100. It wasn't intended to be its own meal as 100 calories is considered a "snack" to nutritionists. Sadly, they removed it from their menu about a month ago when they introduced the Mexican Street Corn Chowder Soup. Hopefully they bring it back as it was the only soup I would get from Panera because of how low it was in calories and good it tasted. ~Be Blessed
I love Wendy's chili!!
Hey! I love Wendy's chill. I even like the Wendy's tackle salad where they give you chill as part of it.
Mmm. Tackle salad.
What a great video & so interesting! In the winter, since I have been I’ll and unable to cook unfortunately, I have been unable to make homemade soups & stews like I usually do so this video is particularly valuable ! My husband loves soup so we ate lots of canned soup this past winter & in general, since my fall! Thank-you so very much for this video for we love soup…” PERIOD!” This is a great video/blog/site!🥰
Wendy’s chili is not one of the worst fast food soups. Should be higher. You question whether chili is a soup and praise cheese sauce with broccoli?
The problem I have with Panera bread is, the soup could be good but the sandwich is lousy with the soup and it's overpriced,$25 for a half a sandwich with a soup.
Sorry but Wendy's chilli is very good end of story 😠
Wendys chili is the best. These rankings are out of whack.
I agree with your evaluations of Panera's Broccoli Cheese and the two Chik-fil-A soups. However I am very dissatisfied with your evaluation of Wendy's Chili. I don't think anyone who goes into Wendy's cares that leftover burgers are part of the mix -- a cooked burger is a cooked burger, regardless of it was cooked that morning or left over from the night before (that comes from making sure there is fresh hamburgers at all times they are open). I also don't expect it to taste like pasty chili, I want it to be a light soup consistancy. It's great, easy to get, and can even eat it without a spoon.
I'm 45 years old, and worked for Panera when my mother was dying. They fired me because I'd rather spend time with her than their pretentious crap. I have never eaten their garbage since 2004. Overpriced shit.
Wendy's chili is great
I usually make my own soups. When I can’t or don’t have time, Chick-fil-A is great. The noodles can get beat up as the day goes on. Panera soups are decent but they are made too cheesy or too rich. The tomato basil is very good!
OMG, I just had Paneras new Street Corn Chowder...sooooo good. Just a little spice from the poblano peppers, creamy, thick, tortilla strips add a nice crunch, solid 9 out of 10
Panera soups like many soups and sauces (pasta sauces too) at chain restaurants come frozen in bags and are reheated in vats of hot water. Fresh from the freezer!
Wendys Chili been eating I for years I guess I like it!!
Not a big fan of Chick-fil-A, don't like their food. But if there was a Tim Hortons by us than I probably go there
I feel like Jerry and George from Seinfeld would spend hours talking about this one video.
All I hear is that Wendy's chilli is alright whats up
I get Wendy's Chili and doctor it up
Something mashed needs to realize is that the average person is just pretty easily pleased when it comes to fast food. Seriously folks, wendys chili isn't THAT bad.
Can you guys do fast food cookies ranked at all?
I don't get all the hate with Wendy's chili. Also, chili is chili, not soup.
Excuse me, but Wendys is famous for its delicious chili. As for being made from left over patties, waste not, want not.
If you are out Seattle way try Ivar's New England clam chowder. Heaven in a bowl.
Thirty years ago a coworker who worked at Wendy's warned me against their chili. Mainly left over hamburger and not thrown out at the end of the day. Sad, because I really like it.
Chili gets better with age
chick fil a does the same with their soups. the chicken in the soups are left overs.
why the hell wouldnt it be leftovers thats historically what soups have always been made with anyways lmao like literally
which is normal, its soup, ur supposed to use leftover ingredients @@justchris814
Wendy's chili is way better than expected but is by no means great
What the hey? No tomato basil soup? This is one of my favorte fast food soups. I really like the version from Jason's, the sandwich shop, although like many of Jason's items, it's perhaps not as good as it used to be. Drifting a bit from fast food joints, Kroger's deli department offers its Home Chef line, and their tomato basil is outstanding, one of my very favorite premade soups. I like adding in a packet of ramen, and about a third of a packet of Nong Shim's Black spice packet is out of this world. To top it off, stir in about half a teaspoon of Better than Boullioun Beef soup base--but be careful, as delicious as the BtB pastes are, they tend to be very salty.
As far as Wendy’s goes the meat that isn’t fresh enough for burgers is used for the chilli and that’s the way any chilli should be.
I disagree..Wendy's Chilli was a total life saver when I was preggers!! Ugh my baby girl would hardly let us eat anything else except green beans 😫
zoup corn and crab chowder.... omg I miss it so much. And their Lobster Bisque is damn fine. This vid was so stupid. That they state you can get better soup from fine restaurants, well duh. But, sometime you don't have the time or money for a fine restaurant and you just want a warm meal and a decent soup is great for that
who has the best broccoli cheese soup or vegan soup?
i work at ocharleys and the loaded potato soup is pretty good
Firehouse Subs has a VERY decent chili for those who hate Wendy's own so much. Krystal's chili is also decent, but Wendy's has it's own essence with the chili game, unless you go to Chilli's where it's AWESOME! The other soups were fairly on point, even though some of these restaurants are not nationwide. Just saying.
I don’t comment much but this is where I draw the line- Wendy’s chili is the best item on their menu. Period.
Chick-fil-A hospitality? Lolololol.
How you failed to include Qdoba's Totilla Soup is beyond me. It is leagues better than your addition of Chik Fil A's garbage soup.
Next Fast food Mac and Cheese Ranked
Umm wendys does use leftover scrap patties for chili why you think the grill is so clean
There’s so much fluff in this video I can’t even finish it. Said the same thing about Culver’s within 3 min, though these videos might have gotten better.
Denny's chicken noodle - BEST !
Wendy’s chili is pretty good I think it’s the best fast food chili out there if you just want chili by itself.
Why would lobster bisque contain crab??
McAlister's Deli has the best vegetable soup.
Mashed get a life Wendy’s chili is yummy if You like it mild eat it as is if You want some kick to it mix in some of the hot chili sauce packets.
I prefer Whole Food Market chilled soup - fast food style soup that served at home.
Windy's chilly is so poor in most locations because of the prep work is not right this deffer per location but is so bad when not dine right that i just wont even order
in the south where no one wants to put the time in soup is not a good bet
better in the northern part of the country
Good video
Quiznos like there soups
I learn that the lack of laziness in the workers contributes to the quality of the foods.
Absolutely!
In all my years growing up in the Midwest, I don’t think I ever thought to get soup from culvers. Anyone who’s anyone in the Midwest knows it’s butter, burgers, custard, and fries cheese curds. That’s it that’s the best of the guy and they knock it out of the park every time why would I wanna get soup there? That’s like getting a salad at McDonald’s lol.
Where the fuck subway broccoli cheddar at
In my subway has the worst soup. Its always watered down and bland as hell
Can't anyone cook with dark meat chicken in America except in Hawaii? The flavorless breast meat is near tasteless.
The best soup comes from my wife’s kitchen
🍜🥣🍲
Bruh I might slap whoever made this video wendys chili ain't the best but it's good asl for a fast food chili
first
First!?!? AmOGus nendnsj
Bro who is this CZcams creator they don't know anything about soups and their whole video is annoying to follow along to as they serious bring up other places while talking about soups. Just talk about the soup and the quality and then move on. Don't bring up other places "fancier restaurants" etc. As a person with adhd I normally hyperfocus on soup videos cause I grew up on them but dam my attention was lost fast
