Found you because this video is now listed on the Projects plugin page - This was super useful live session!
Did you try getting the 'from tags' project type working? (it doesn't seem to work form me)

Thanks for the words of support! Glad you found it helpful :)
I don't believe I was able to get that part working yet. I plan on doing a bigger deep dive on this, so more on this hopefully soon!

Thanks for the video mate, interesting plugin in its early stages that looks promising! Also imo you should slow down a bit sometimes as when youre going fast sometimes things are easily missed. Eg. 12:44 - the "Untitled" Project actually did appear in the Projects List, it was at the very top. So new pages do display by default and modifying the Frontmatter metadata isnt necessary for it to be displayed.

I've been playing with projects for a while and thought it was going to be amazing but I found one bug after another and when I reported them on Github they were just closing with no comment made or action taken.

I'm sad to hear that. Which issue was it?

Hi Ben, I tried Projects. It looks good. However I started using obsidian with kanban and tags. for some use case i have dataview and calendar plugin. Normally i create a kanban board ( backlog, upcoming task, to do, done) with a same template. whatever ideas i have in mind , i will create a note by adding a back log task in corresponding project. whatever i work currently i move that task to "to do" . In my home page i have two moc. One is listing all my kanban projects. another is listing all my current to do notes and upcoming tasks in the kanban project.

To connect ideas i just use tags. We need to have naming convention when using tags. if i want to search some particular keyword for the note i use #keyword/{keywordname}. if i want to seperate in terms of context i use #category/{context}.

As of now its working for me with minimal obsidian plugins. However your contents are looking great 👏.

That's awesome! Did you ultimately find that that Projects was too complicated for how you manage your tasks / projects?

@@BenCodeZen Yes Ben,Projects is a great plugin but I dont want to complex my workflow. Initially i used complex methods to handle knowledge management system. But most of the times i failed to continue it due to my complex workflow. So i made my mind with limited resources ( obsidian plugins ) to handle my PKM. As per my understanding we have two approaches for PKM. Top down and Bottom up . For me If i want to read a new book its a top down approach where i create a Table of contents ( MoC) and create notes for the book and Bottom up is used for scattered notes. My homepage is having 3 Dataview queries.

1st dataview query is used to show all my projects ( listing all kanban template)

Hey @stevenmendoza3732! Yep I'm the developer for the Night Owl Obsidian theme, but most of the credit goes to Sarah Drasner for the original design and color combinations.
