Canyon Sender CFR 29 underdog - Unboxing

I am unboxing my new Canyon Sender CFR 29 underdog. The overall packaging of the bike was really nice, and I got lots of nice stuff with the bike in Canyon goodie box. I even got two spring coils with different spring rates for the shock. I must say that I am not satisfied with the frame and paintjob quality. I was expecting a lot better quality, especially because this is a CFR model. On top of that, I had a problem with the shock bushings. The bike came with too big shock bushings and the shock was basically impossible to remove from the bike and the same was with returning the shock back to the bike. This was really bad for the linkage because it was putting too much stress on the shock and on the bike. As a result, the linkage was not as sensitive as it should be, especially with a coil shock. Customer support at Canyon didn't really look at this situation as a big problem an that really upset me. I am not saying that you shouldn't buy this bike because, nevertheless, it is still a great bike but be ready for a possibility of some problems appearing with the bike...

A skuzio sam kad sam iso vadit van shock da zamjenim oprugu, al na kraju je ispalo da je i u meni bio problem, a i njihov dizajn bas i nije najbolji…

Did you buy the two springs?or accessory?

Hi, I got the two springs with the bike which is amazing. One is 450lbs and one is 550lbs. The one on the bike was 500lbs.

Maybe you could ask around if other people had similar issues like I did. For example I have a friend that bought the same bike in different colour one month before I did and he didn’t have these problems. Maybe my case was just bad luck but who knows…
