Hi I have been looking at cwd for pond build as you said do all the cut and proved all screws I’m just worried about fitting window and I see it was just on grass just wondering do you work for them just after some advice we have met at jack open day at the shop thanks Dave
Yes I do alot of work for cwd this one tho was on concrete footings but hidden under the sleepers it's not necessary but worth doing if ya can as it will make the sleepers last longer. But yes either find me on Facebook link in the description or ask me anything and I'll try to help 😊👍
@@keepingitkoi Yes, I’d say you have lots of practice doing that many!! If I ever build another one I should fly you over to do it! Haha 🤣 But seriously, I just love the look of a sleeper pond. Solid and bulky & can withstand any weather much better than my timber one!
@ColossalKoi exactly the same thickness as the window so it can just stay there as its the sealant that holds the window the wood is just there to keep it up and level. This was a 25mm thick window so the wood was also 25mm on this occasion but use a piece of wood exactly the same thickness as the wood and you can just leave it there 😊👍

Great job Jamie
Thanks Joyce appreciate it 😊🙏
Looks a neat little build 👌 well done
Thanks bud appreciate it 👍 🙏
Hi Jamie,
A other great update on the pond project that you did mate.
Steve
Thanks Steve really appreciate it 👍 hope your well bud 😊
Should have used rags on the window end so it doesnt scratch the glass
Thanks bud but a piece of timber will never scratch toughened glass it's impossible and I've fitted about 15-20 windows this way with no issues 😊👍
This is awesome ❤.. I wanted to know how to do this thank u Jamie
No worries at all bud glad it helped 👍
Great job mate
Thanks bud appreciate it 👍 🙏
you can use a ratchet to push screws deeper into the wood.
Or the £300 impact driver I use 😉
Can you tell us what glue you are using thanks for sharing
Ms300 👍
Measure twice cut once😂🤓
Absolutely mate 👍 👌
What size is the wood under the window?❤
You mean the thin piece holding the window level?
Yes the thin piece
@ColossalKoi exactly the same thickness as the window so it can just stay there as its the sealant that holds the window the wood is just there to keep it up and level.

Thank u Jamie..well explained.. got u.. are u using a box custom cut liner or did u fold that liner that neat? Thank u
@ColossalKoi I'm not installing the liner on this one but he has ordered a boxweld liner, but I certainly used a boxweld liner on my own 😊👍
