I’m here from Midwest magic and he is right. You are amazing. A true 👼. To those who missed it MWM says you have to save the person from drowning first. Not hand them a towel. Can’t teach a drowning person how to swim. It takes steps and gradual progress. And just because you have had depression doesn’t mean you know what this persons life is like. Thanks Barbie et al.

Smh…y’all must be one of the holy water drinking people. Barbie you did a phenomenal job as always 😊. I pray this woman gets well enough mentally to keep her home in great shape for her children and herself.
Yeah we do judge but because we see it from the point of view of the kids growing up in these situations. I pray this woman is better for her kids sake…this has got to be hard on those kids as well…
Great job Barbie ❤ I know a lot of people will come on here and rant and rave about how the kids should be taken away but that is only out of ignorance about how the child care and foster care systems work. This lady is taking obvious steps to fix all of her mistakes, getting everything cleaned and getting therapy for herself. She is building a better life for her kids who seem perfectly happy to be with her. Give her a chance before judging and condemning her when she is trying so hard to make things right.
@jadedestiny9195 What have you struggled with or was embarrassed to ask help with. If nothing ever, then you are perfection. And it shows the compassion or kindness that you lack for people who have or are truly struggling. But yet you take time to comment. Find something better to do with your time since you've it all together.

Shows she loves that man more then her home, kid and herself! Trust me! Ive asked for help! Qnd no way in HELL would my kids live in this house with roaches or even stay there after clean up!! Depression does last couple days! But not years! Get help right away when u see ur house starting to look like this or bugs if u have children! Cuz this aint fair to them!

How do you know she is nasty? There are two sides to every situation. Maybe he was abusive and she asked him to leave or maybe he left because her depression was so bad she wasn’t getting help for it or maybe he was a guy who never helped and was mean to her? Do you know her? Then don’t say anything !
Same here. I just don’t get it. It looks like she bought new clothes instead of washing their clothes…. If the mom just collected the trash, it would have made a huge difference. I don’t get it. Order in food, then just leave the dirty food package on the floor??
Barbie, you have nicely collected all their clothes but do you think she will wash them?? And then put them away??? I feel really sorry for this lady and her 2 daughters. Those 2 girls are not getting a good start in life…

I try not to judge, but it seems strange to me that someone would stand by and watch someone else clean their mess without asking how can i help? If they don’t know how to clean or are unable, they should just watch Barbie as she works so hard cleaning up their stuff-as the roaches & other bugs run up the walls. I apologize if these folks have mental or physical disabilities…but I hope at least the children learned a few cleaning skills from Barbie the Wonderful!❤
@@tinekedehaan4449 These people have so many emotional challenges - anxiety, depression, abuse, loneliness maybe some never were taught as young people normal habits, and yes, some might be just lazy, and don’t want to clean. Most healthy people are unable to relate to this sort of situation, I know I can’t. But I watch it. Some could benefit from counseling, no doubt. But I will say, Barbie is undaunted by her task at hand!
Interesting how each one of us reacts with divorce. My house usedto look like this when my ex-husband lived with us. After he lefty 3 boys have kept their rooms clean and the rest of the house is beautiful and clean. I hope this girl realizeses she deserves better and a clean home is a great start. I know why Magic Cleaning recommends your channel. Both of your goals are helping someone and are talented with cleaning and organizing skills. You have compassion. All the people who you do the work for not only will appreciate a clean home, but they will never forget that you helped them and that they felt comfortable letting you into their home in that state. Hi. When you're using a plunger in a bath or a sink, it sometimes helps to use a damp cloth and hold it over the overflow hole at the same time. It helps to create a vacuum. My Dad is a plumber! You're an amazing woman, Barbie xx
I don’t understand how it gets this bad for people. Walking on all that, nowhere to sleep, no where to cook or eat or just sit and read or watch tv. The cockroaches alone would drive me out of the house. I’m glad she is getting help. Great job Barbie.
Especially with kids in the house. I understand severe depression (experienced it severely at one time and dealing with it constantly for over 40 years). But for children having to live like this with bugs crawling all over them is just horrible. Good thing the mom is getting help.
Beautifully done. It doesn't have to be perfect. It helps people to know that someone cares enough to help them start their live over. Don't listen to the haters.

I think this house reset will go a long way to help this family. Now the mom won’t feel so overwhelmed in that environment. Hopefully this will motivate her to keep it up a long with the therapy she is doing. Amazing job Barbie.
It is much safer and the resident can call in maintenance without worrying they will call social services. Amazing job! You should be so proud of what you do!
Hi, Barbie, I love the longer videos the most . I like when you show like you cleaned three rooms before and afterwards. I think your amazing for doing this for free . Your a blessing to all those you help ! Your a wonderful individual ! Please do not let the negativity from some of the viewers affect you in any way. Remember your the one doing all the hard work using your time to do it and let’s not forget for free ! You have to look at it like this how many of those negative people would step up and do what your doing . I can tell you “NONE “ ! These house cleaning videos are one of the few genuine, wholesome trends on social media. Barbie I can’t describe how incredible you are and the way you have helped the people in these videos . When you move away to Europe, your local community will lose somebody with a big heart.

I guess it's interesting changing format once on awhile for something different. Love of a parent for a child is providing them with the best environment possible. Clean home, clean clothes and a nutritional meal. The responsibility of a parent is to work and provide this support for them and to be an example. Glad you find it in your heart to help...and hopefully this mom will appreciate the 3 days of free cleaning that will be a guide that she can continue to follow.

You can't help but wonder how they move around in there. I've had friends and relatives hoard. I think it's more common than people realize. You have lots more patience than me Barbie, and you're just the person to magically transform that place. Great job!
Barbie, the only judgement I would say it how amazing & so clean everything was done in the amount of time you had. I also am amazed that the homeowner was helping you & she even had her young daughter to help fold the couch bed up. No it is not perfect, but they have to feel so much better in the before & the after of it. This has to help with the motivation with the person that yes things can be better for me & yes one day I can have that or I can do that. It is a work in progress (that is what I always say). You are a miracle worker! I was right there beside you picking up the clothes, shoes, and trash.Wish I lived closer as I would take the clothes to the laundromat and come back and fill their closets and dressers with clean clothes. Well done, Barbie!!
I understand that depression can lead to this. But I can't imagine myself in this situation, no matter how bad it got. I look around my house and cannot fathom that situation in my own house. So how she's handling this just blows me away! That you had the grace of spirit to lend her a helping hand says so much about your giving nature.

You do such an incredible job helping these families in need. I was really happy to see it looked like the mother of the house was helping you clean up the living room. That tells me that she's motivated to get her house back under control and that she's not going to let it slide back into that condition after you've gone
It has to do with resources and ability not motivation. I have serious issues with housekeeping and I clean hours and hours every week. No one would believe me because it's still a disaster. I AM motivated. Basically everyone is motivated to live in a clean house but motivation doesn't translate to anything. No one knows what that woman's life is like or what kind of effort she is making. Someone could work for hours on that and no one would know
I'm always amazed how just cleaning up the garbage and the clothes make such a huge difference. Thank you for the nice long video! When you're using a plunger in the tub, you have to block the overflow drain. There can't be any air escaping otherwise you don't get good suction to remove the blockage.
I, in no way, shape, or form want this comment to come across as critical. I understand the disease of hoarding. I also understand that sometimes the spouse leaves because the horde is too much. They leave because they've tried to contain the hoard and the main offender Is extremely combative or angry. I understand it is a disease, and hopefully, counseling and treatment and training also for the children that live in this home will be a blessing to all of them. Over at your channel from midwest magic cleaning, ignore the judges. How does it get like this? A little bit at a time, and that makes it harder to notice until it gets overwhelming. What about the kids? They can start over being more tidy with mum, even little kids can put things away or in a bin. When it comes to people telling you how to clean or giving you instructions, it is only ever up to you to make choices in your life and work❤ It is great to see the outcomes of those choices in your videos Barbie, 10/10.

I'm guessing the guy was building maintenance, he wasn't ratting out the apartment dweller as much as he was reporting to his boss. I'm sure a call was placed for maintenance on the toilet and tub, but a plunger isn't going to fix either of them. Some major issues need to be addressed as well as someone to come in to spray for bugs, and if you've ever had to make an appointment you know they take time to set up, I called once because my fridge wasn't working, and I was told a technician would be out in six months. LOL!

It’s not easy to humble yourself and ask for help so the fact that this mom has taken the first step is huge. Once the rooms are clean how do you get rid of the cockroaches as they are everywhere. Does someone come in and fumigate the whole house. You do a great job helping those that need a helping hand to get back on track.
Barbie, you say it isn't perfect. Well I think you achieved close to it! You are so thorough and careful with your cleaning and wiping. I feel relieved and happy for those children. It's terrible for children to live in such a mess. The whole place looks so fresh and clean, and the floors are beautiful! I wish the mother well in her journey to wellness. Two things I would suggest to her out of kindness, would be not to eat so much junkfood as it has an effect on our mental health, and secondly, to cut down on the number of clothes she has. Too much stuff weighs us down and just makes life harder. Thank you for all your efforts, Barbie. You are really an angel.
When you are depressed and your kitchen is already a mess, you are going to eat takeaway food because its faster and safer. When you have no clean clothes and no idea where to start with laundry you are going to buy new clothes...

Hi. When you're using a plunger in a bath or a sink, it sometimes helps to use a damp cloth and hold it over the overflow hole at the same time. It helps to create a vacuum. My Dad is a plumber! You're an amazing woman, Barbie xx

Especially with kids in the house. I understand severe depression (experienced it severely at one time and dealing with it constantly for over 40 years). But for children having to live like this with bugs crawling all over them is just horrible. Good thing the mom is getting help.

The responsibility of a parent is to work and provide this support for them and to be an example. Barbie, the only judgement I would say it how amazing & so clean everything was done in the amount of time you had. I also am amazed that the homeowner was helping you & she even had her young daughter to help fold the couch bed up. No it is not perfect, but they have to feel so much better in the before & the after of it. This has to help with the motivation with the person that yes things can be better for me & yes one day I can have that or I can do that. It is a work in progress (that is what I always say). You do such an incredible job helping these families in need. I was really happy to see it looked like the mother of the house was helping you clean up the living room. That tells me that she's motivated to get her house back under control and that she's not going to let it slide back into that condition after you've gone
It has to do with resources and ability not motivation. I have serious issues with housekeeping and I clean hours and hours every week. No one would believe me because it's still a disaster. I AM motivated. Basically everyone is motivated to live in a clean house but motivation doesn't translate to anything. No one knows what that woman's life is like or what kind of effort she is making. Someone could work for hours on that and no one would know
To be clear, disabled people need support, resources and in some cases treatment, not encouragement or motivation
I'm always amazed how just cleaning up the garbage and the clothes make such a huge difference. Thank you for the nice long video! When you're using a plunger in the tub, you have to block the overflow drain. There can't be any air escaping otherwise you don't get good suction to remove the blockage.

I, in no way, shape, or form want this comment to come across as critical. I understand the disease of hoarding. I also understand that sometimes the spouse leaves because the horde is too much. They leave because they've tried to contain the hoard and the main offender Is extremely combative or angry. I understand it is a disease, and hopefully, counseling and treatment and training also for the children that live in this home will be a blessing to all of them. Over at your channel from midwest magic cleaning, ignore the judges. How does it get like this? A little bit at a time, and that makes it harder to notice until it gets overwhelming. What about the kids? They can start over being more tidy with mum, even little kids can put things away or in a bin. When it comes to people telling you how to clean or giving you instructions, it is only ever up to you to make choices in your life and work❤ It is great to see the outcomes of those choices in your videos Barbie, 10/10.

I'm guessing the guy was building maintenance, he wasn't ratting out the apartment dweller as much as he was reporting to his boss. I'm sure a call was placed for maintenance on the toilet and tub, but a plunger isn't going to fix either of them. Some major issues need to be addressed as well as someone to come in to spray for bugs, and if you've ever had to make an appointment you know they take time to set up, I called once because my fridge wasn't working, and I was told a technician would be out in six months. LOL!

Once the rooms are clean how do you get rid of the cockroaches as they are everywhere. Does someone come in and fumigate the whole house. You do a great job helping those that need a helping hand to get back on track.
After the home is clean, it’s easier to kill cockroaches. They can call a specialist or they can start to put poison and bomb :)

Barbie, you say it isn't perfect. Well I think you achieved close to it! You are so thorough and careful with your cleaning and wiping. I feel relieved and happy for those children. It's terrible for children to live in such a mess. The whole place looks so fresh and clean, and the floors are beautiful! I wish the mother well in her journey to wellness. Two things I would suggest to her out of kindness, would be not to eat so much junkfood as it has an effect on our mental health, and secondly, to cut down on the number of clothes she has. Too much stuff weighs us down and just makes life harder. Thank you for all your efforts, Barbie. You are really an angel.
When you are depressed and your kitchen is already a mess, you are going to eat takeaway food because its faster and safer. When you have no clean clothes and no idea where to start with laundry you are going to buy new clothes...
