Look, I've seen you express your uncomfort with the fact that these beautifully elaborate videos don't get as much views as the one hand simple ones. My dude, I just beg of you, never stop doing this. Your creativity as a musician os inspiring
Videos like this or Sultans of Swing or the Lindsey Stirling cover are some of my favorite.
I play metal, so it's cool to see more shit to internalize, but these videos get me HYPED to go play some drums. All the little details, the overplaying, I feel like I learn more and pickup more grooves from these more mellow vids.

First off, loved this cover. The change with the fills, the hi-hat, and even the cowbell brings a different life to this classic song. Keep doing what you love to do. I understand that some songs, like this, doesn’t get the many views as others. But, I love these covers cause it shows your dynamic range and flexibility in other genres. Keep it up.

I would love to see what you would do with Roundabout by Yes. It has a great bassline and fantastic guitar work however, the drums always made me feel like they could use more flair. They just drive forward with nothing to build on the rest of the song.

I wasted 20 years of my life trying to play the drums. I had to have a huge kit, and I had SOME talent. I never practiced and that was where I wasted. I wish that back in 1998, I had you as inspiration. I would have ditched the huge double bass kit and just got a 3 piece...and concentrated on technique instead of gear. I would have been at least 1/4 as awesome as you. Now, at 44 Ive lost the desire to even try to begin again. Dont be like me. PRACTICE
