The scenarios that you laid out are the best scenarios for gold.
Men: Coleman - Kerley - Bednarek - Lyles
The caveat here is that the first handoff (Coleman-Kerley) has been spotty to dangerous (Coleman ran all up on Kerley's back). Although Bednarek is not enthusiastic about running the third leg, that is the difference between just gold and the American Record (37.10)/WR. No team besides the Jamaicans can match that foot speed (Kishane Thompson is the variable in this equation).
Women: Jefferson - Terry - Thomas - Richardson
Depending on when the 200m final is scheduled, I would run the 3 100m team members (since none qualified for the 200m) in the prelim with a swap out of Thomas for Davis or Clark. I'd run the 2nd team as much as possible. Thomas made her case for the 4x400m relay team in the Bahamas as well, and she may be needed more there (K. Brown - Thomas - Ellis - SML).
Question: Are we going to get a test run at the Paris DL or Monaco of the relays before the Olympics?
As always, excellent analysis and straight-forward presentation that engenders dialogue.

The six (6) top finishers in Olympic 100M trial finals coupled with two (2) top curve runners if they're not in the top 6 already drawn - goes for men and women teams. The best finishers at the actual Olympic Game will, in my mind base on rules and past actions may replace two who had run heats and semi-finals. Coleman, KB, 4th place finisher in 200M; then Noah to match the Caribbean, and the rest of the world to the finish line. I love how Italy had taken the Gold in Tokyo on the line. I generally agree with the picks for the women's 100 meters: Jefferson, Terry, Thomas, and Richardson. I would also love to see the former collegiate star McKenzie Long included. For the men's 100 meters, I favor Coleman, Bednarek, Lindsey, and Lyles. Kerley has been outperformed too often, and Lindsey would be a better option. Regarding Knighton, I don't want to risk having medals revoked due to his pending investigation. Otherwise, I'd be perfectly fine with him on the team. I say if it ain't broke don't fix it. They would have broken that world record last year if they had better handoffs. I will say that Tamari to MJ to Tee Tee to Sha'carri is intriguing. Tee Tee is a really good curve runner and I believe MJ is legitimately the second fastest woman in the Olympics this year, plus she's mentally powerful. Sha'carri won't need much because she has closing speed and will track down anyone in front of her, hypothetically speaking. Imagine the first three legs blowing it away early. We're looking at a new world record. Sha'carri, make sure you run through that line with everything you got. As far as the guys are concerned, I really don't care who you put at 2nd and 3rd, 1st and anchor is a lock for me too. Barring injury and premature celebrations I'm seeing world-record implications from both teams. It's all about the handoffs and finishing strong. Noah, Sha'carri run until you end up in the first exchange zone. Hell, run until you end up at the top row of the bleachers. Run until you end up in the parking lot. Hell, run until you end up back at the airport. I think y'all catch my drift🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

For men 1st leg Coleman his start is very fast to get away from a lot of first leg.
2nd leg Fred Kerley his finishing and top-speed is good combined with his endurance to maintain his speed for longer which can chase down lots of athletes.
3rd leg Bednarek or knighton both are good at the curve as we saw both in the 200m curve.
Anchor leg Lyle’s, his top speed is just unstoppable.
The biggest threat will be Jamaica 4x1 since ackeem Blake who’s a good starter Seville, kishane Thompson both are really good at top speed could be a challenging team for the U.S.
If Thompson is the anchor then it could challenge Lyle’s top speed since Thompson hit 9.77. Coleman will be able to get away or catch Ackeem Blake. Oblique Seville might keep up with kerley.
But idk if kishame Thompson will be part of the relay or not?
I feel like the U.S 4x100 and 100m is going to be challenging from the 9.82 Seville 9.77 Thompson.
We just gotta hope for good baton pass for the team.

Richardson and Lyles should remain as anchor. Any change will affect American quartet from winning the gold. Coleman and Jefferson as first leg. Terry and Gabby second and third respectively. Bednareck and knighton second and third.

Bahamas: 100m sprintrrs or to change with Coleman, Kenny, Lindsey, and Noah for the final; but keep the same sprinters in the Bahamas for the prim; and for the same sprinters for the Bahamas for the priml, and then shift if necessary for the women; Tamari Davis, Gabby Thomas, Melissa Jefferson, and Sha'Carrie Richardson for the final: but the Priml: Davis, Terry, Jefferson, and Sha'Carrie Richardson, because I would put Gabby Thomas on the 400m dash relay; and I would put Fred K for the 400 m dash relays too because of their experience in it: Knighton is a 200m sprinter, but I think 🤔 that he can do that 400m dash like Tagobo, perhaps the 400m relay mixed w the Bullis Quincy Wilson (mixed) and the ladies- Thomas and Ellis, or one of those collegiate 400m sprinters who scheduled for Paris as the top three...
The US could use the same team for the 100m dash that qualified the United States or switched; but look for consistency and resilience and confidence in the training of passing the baton when it counts and obedience to the rules and regulations of the competition because it's strict !
Practice would produce confidence and consistency, especially those who are doing individual competitions..
That baton is the key to qualify and not 🚭🚫 going pass that line... but I would be praying, routing, and cheering for my USA teams for the relays because they too are chasing the GOLD 🥇🪙!!!
Thanks for sharing your insights and point of view though!!!😊

You ended the video poorly. Jamaica has three woman under 11 and Sashalee Forbes right behind at 11.0. With 4 more weeks to get sharp. This will really be a race

The Jamaicans were faster last year at world championships and lost. They got slower and USA got faster so i think that’s why he ended it like that. Never count them out but this could be a race like 2012 when USA broke the record and won by a huge margin. I believe the Jamaican men have a better chance then the women and possibly could upset the US men’s. They typically don’t do well and always mess up baton passes

Coleman, Kenny, Fred, and Kyle's. Kenny on the longer leg cause he's a better 200 guy right now than Fred is.

Are you leaving Marissa Jefferson off the first leg in your opinion she explode the blocks in the world championship US champion twice just ran 10.8 and took second place in the US trials. I’d like Davis but have you been drinking?
