Apart from a few rides on a piece of bent plywood in Jersey,I did my early surfing in Cornwall and Devon and despite having now surfed a whole bunch of full on tropical waves in indo,Australia, California,as well as France,Spain and Portugal, there's still a certain magic to the Cornish waves( and the people) miss it very much.thanks for the vid.

Hey there just reaching out! I will be in Cornwall next month visiting my family and surfing. Would love to meet some of the boys and cruise around the coast a bit. Last time I scored an epic wood keel twinny and was pretty stuck surfing Hayle which was actually really fun. I’ve been living and surfing on Kauai for the last four and would be happy to show any travelers around here as well 🤙🏽 Aloha and see you out there hopefully it’s shacking like in this video!

How long do you get held under in these waves?

In waves 3-5ft hold unders can be short, anywhere from 3-5 seconds, but from Experience, any waves from 8-12ft can have horrible hold unders, It can feel like Minuits under there but usually it's around 10 seconds

Greeting from, ever so rare, Bolinas, CA...stumbled on you. Lovely song and surf vid. I don't live there any more, (SOB!) but pa-rants still have house right above the shore, easy break, and FYI, locals surf RCA. Cali Zip is 94924. RCA is SUPER local only, so don't bother unless want car waxed, or old school worse. Bo regular beach is now open, unlike the '70's. Breaking all the local only rules, with RCA mention, but think you are far enough away:) White Sharks here, so careful, honey bunnies:).That's my Dog, Ziggy on Muir Beach, Little Beach, another SUPER Secret Spot, no surf, no parking. x.
