Another wonderful contribution from Jeff. Everyone, please give Jeff a round of applause.
You're too kind Chris.
👏👏👏
Ive been waiting for a redo. Cant wait to jam out! Could you please do a “Liberty” backing track? I know you’ve got a ton of Dead stuff in the works!
Before this there was no good backing track for EP on youtube. Thanks a lot for posting
No prob Roy.
One of the best jam tracks you've made Jeff! It just keeps goin and goin!! Really fun now that I've got my pedals all sorted out ;) Hello from Minnesota!
This is so killer! Cheers
Thanks Jeff! Truly appreciate the efforts you put into making the best Dead backing tracks out there.
Thanks and no prob!
That was so much fun!
Appreciate you so much man for all you do ,thank you my friend ✨🙏✨
No prob
Thanks very much for doing this. Awesome job!
My pleasure!
Thank you, maestro!
Great job man, love it!
Thanks Alex!
you rock jeff
This is awesome!!great work, Haha! so cool
Thanks!
Just came back to this one and just freaking great.... so well done.. and kudos to you as well! The tune is all over the place as far as "tonal centers" and such are I figured the F#m jam was just natural minor.. then I noticed you wrote Dorian... and I was like.. hmmm.. but then I listen to a bit of Barton Hall version and YUP very clearly the D# is clearly evident in the jam.. and so important to give it the right feel... on this jam you could play natural minor and it totally works.. but the jam is definitely actually in Dorian as they do it! (in 77 at least.. )
Thanks Jeff!
No prob!
Thanks Jeff ! Can you do this one and the transition into Eyes (the fast one preferably to stay true to 77 Dead) in one video like you did with Scarlet Fire ? Thanks for your contributions.
Awesome - thank you! 💀🥀
No prob.
Hey Jeff, exploring your channel. Thanks for the content.
I’m a baritone and tend to play Jerry tunes a M3 below where the band played them so my voice will be within a comfortable range.
I’m currently learning how to use a looping pedal and attempting to come up with a backing track for fire on the mountain. I’m adding Phil’s bass, Bobby part etc… but am having a hard time making it sound good. Do you have any suggestions?
Love this update. If you ever had the time I’ve been dying for you to do backing tracks for Mexicali Blues (possibly into mama tried?), Loose Lucy, and Jack-A-Roe
An acoustic Jack-A-Roe is the next Dead track I've got scheduled.
You"re the best Jeff. Working on any Phish tracks? I've been dreaming of the final jam of Divided Sky, after Page comes in with those descending chords and Trey hits the second tube screamer. :')
Possum is up next then Boogie On Reggae Woman.
@@JeffWilliamsGuitar And absolutely no one complained. That's awesome! Thanks again! (:

I would love an update wharf rat as well as a Jerry lesson. The Bob lesson is great but I’m still in the dark about what exact parts Jerry plays
You're in luck, I do have an updated Wharf Rat track: czcams.com/video/190BuTevl3Y/video.html
@@JeffWilliamsGuitar oh sorry I missed that
That's a messed up rhythm. Nice job!
Thanks! Yeah, I struggled at times with it. Lost they groove on the bass at times during the jam. It was a challenge for sure!
