- Martha has always been my favourite character and it hurts me that she is so underrated! I felt like I had to do something so I made this tribute lol. I'm actually crying. Martha is so underrated in all matters of speaking and she was one of the smartest companions that he ever had. And she actually got out herself, without her dying or disappearing in god knows where. I miss her.
Paige Hoffman and she made the episodes better then all the other companions. Martha is a perfect match for the doctor
She didn't need the doctor to save her she could do that herself that's why I love her as companion
Martha was and is the best companion because she was her own person. While she loved the Doctor that did not blind her to her family and friends who would miss her if she had decided to be with him forever like most companions had planned to do.
To me she retained her sense of self and didn't become all consumed by wanting to be with the Doctor. She realized what kind of a person you had to be in order to travel with the Doctor, by she was herself. she had goals in life she wanted to accomplish and she went on to help the world. She to me became what the Doctor intended for those to travel with him, to gain perspective, to care, help out and live their lives because that's what he'd do if he could.
Martha never let her love for the Doctor consume her and that's why out of all these companions she has the best resolution to her story.
ZoeJeren Soooo truuuue. She is the only companion who continues what she did when she was with him. She step back this wildfire before she get burned. That proves she is wise and brave. She know when to let go. She understand that even without the Doctor p, she can change the world. She learned that due to the year of hell she spent alone. The girl who walked the Earth. besides these things about her love p, I think she saw the worst of him and support like no one ever did. He was grumpy, mad and mean and she stays and stand to save him especially when he didn't want to be saved. She is the best ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This made me sob. Martha Jones was one of my favourite companions and she deserved so much more. The fandom has always overlooked her when she was such a great character. I miss her.
Man if youre gonna emotionally abuse someone and give her mixed signals, dont do it to one of the smartest and most beautiful companions.
Let's beg the producers to have her return

As someone constantly ignored and passed over in my own life, I felt such a kinship to Martha when I was a little boy, because I saw myself in her. Always forgotten, always the second choice, never feeling important enough. Martha was worth so much and I’m glad she found a life for herself outside of the doctor and that she was happy. Hopefully one day I’ll be worthy of a happy ending, too
I really hate that people dump on Martha OR Ten for what happened. It's not fair to dump on Ten, he was hurting so much and needed someone. And it's not fair to dump on Martha. She fell for him, but she couldn't help that, and she handled the whole thing really well. She never pushed him about anything, and she eventually did what was best for her and her family.

This! I see so many people shitting on Ten for *mourning his best friend* after she'd disappeared to another universe, it's just not fair. There's only two things that can be blamed on them, 1. The Doctors ignorance in The Shakespeare Code and 2. Martha being jealous about the Doctor and Jack celebrating that Rose isn't dead in Utopia
other than that, it was just unlucky circumstances and both sides tried to make something work, and in the end they turned out alright and for the better

She and Amy are my favorites companions, great video I really really love that she save the doctor a lot and was such a caring character, also her speech "this is me getting out" is one of the best goodbyes in doctor who. Great ending

In my opinion Martha was too jealous of Rose, And got wrapped up too much in this big crush for the doctor
Martha and Rose both "got wrapped up in the crush they had for The Doctor". The difference is that Rose got lucky and had The Doctor love her back. Martha on the other hand didn't have any of that. Yes, she was jealous of Rose, how could she not be when the person she loved didn't love her back because he was still in love with someone who wasn't even around anymore. In the end Martha's story is empowering: she realises the relationship she's in is toxic and chooses to put herself first. Rose, however, couldn't let go and travelled between parallel universes (even though she knew it would damage the universe) just to get back to The Doctor. Some people would say it's romance, but I just think it's selfishness. If anyone got wrapped up in the crush they had it's Rose.
