Nice truck! Whats the resistance to putting mud flaps on? I couldn't imagine going without them for me as I live down a gravel road too. Get a set of kick back flaps and save your nice new paint job!!

I have a heavy toy hauler and loaded it comes in at about 10k. To much for the ol' stock 454. Watched the test drive video probably 6 times already. haha
Nice man!! I had almost considered a Dmax swap i just couldn’t find the one I wanted for a decent price. I have plenty of pulling power with this engine and the 6 speed auto helps a lot.

I am a die hard ls fan and I love the simplicity of these setups. Parts are relatively cheap and not much maintenance has to be done to them. In the future i will be installing a lsa blower. I had contemplated going with a duramax but I found that the ls engine was a more practical option in my situation.
I love your truck I was thinking of buying a cheap 1998 crew cab Chevy 2500 longbed and make it a shortbed crew cab. Do you think it's worth the work Ima put in it or should I just buy a short bed crew cab 2 start with even if I pay more for it.
Ace Darep yes the engine is moved forward and I had to cut the upper diff mount off on the passenger side. But since I have a solid axle it didn’t matter.

I get about 12 mpg which isn’t bad for as heavy as my truck is.
I saw another video on an OBS LS swap and the guy said the AC would not work. Did you have to move the engine forward?
