It will simply be the prosecution reading miles of more caselaws, trying to avoid giving the defense council anything at all, and the judge mumbling along for hours to eventually say nothing much.
However, if the trial is not televised live, unedited, then a huge percentage of the public will never buy whatever verdict is handed in.

Actually, you have this backwards. The prosecution wants to cherry pick info and the defense wants everything out in the open. What does this mean? It means the factual case against the defendant is weak and there's a ton of facts and evidence creating reasonable doubt (not that's he innocent)...

@@Clau574No she’s not. The prosecution hasn’t turn anything over to the defense to prove anything. He’s never given a reason to arrest Kohberger. The IGG sample is completely gone so defense can’t have it tested and verified by their choice of lab. There was 3 other male DNA that wasn’t ever tested, (how did they know it was male not female if it wasn’t tested?). Two females in the house at time of murder, but BT doesn’t want them to take the stand. It took the two remaining 8 hrs to call 911, That’s really strange. Knife sheath found in girls bedroom by police. But when detectives did their investigation no one saw it. Only police were allowed in the house after 911 was called, no EMT’s or Paramedics allowed in. It took police chief over 4-5 hours to get to crime scene. University decides to tear down the house (crime scene) and then take it somewhere to bury it. How suspicious is that? Why did police kill Brent Kopacka? He didn’t have any roommates, he lived in a 1 bedroom apartment. The students of U of I are sleeping with knives because they are afraid. Frat boys have moved away to another country to attend college there. That’s just off the top of my head. So much more. The Judge and Prosecutor are crooked as hell.

Taylorhas made the complaint about evidence since the beginning! Some of the info is coming from the federal agencies and at some point the DA was like "the feds dont want to give the info, what do you want me to do?" Or something along those lines. Again, complains about evidence not being shared are not new.

Well, as always people interpret things according to their biases and preconceptions. The judge is in a difficult position. Damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t. I think utmost on his mind is to avoid a mistrial. I want to get things moving. I think delays work in favor of the defense unfairly. Set a firm trial date and stick to it.

But I do look for Judge Judge to change his mind and have the the rest of the hearings closed too. IMO. I’m thinking the prosecution doesn’t have good enough evidence to show BK did this crime. And instead of embarrassing himself and the court it will be closed. I could be completely wrong. I don’t understand why another lawyer, judge doesn’t speak up on this stuff, stating BK is not getting a fair trial.

The bevy of preposterous excuses is already a bridge too far for this oldster. I have lived long enough to know that the last institution to trust is the government, hands down, no exceptions. The entire thing stinks to high heaven - and one of the biggest tells is the rapid destruction of the location. Every time I see this happen - I know EXACTLY what is happening - it’s an act of criminality by the government - every time. You can take that to the bank. The entire case is doomed to failure - even, and probably ESPECIALLY if they get a guilty verdict. The case against Lee Harvey Oswald was cleaner and less effed up.

Defense council clearly stated that they have bene allowed to see only short clips of the security cameras' (Plural) recording, andd most of it ith the audio removed. In repsonse, the judge ruled that the prosecution should hnd-in a reprt--not the videos--a report to the court on May 7.
