Fish or no fish Iâm still watching! đđœ love the surf reports
We were out at the 25 mile marker this past Saturday and didn't catch any keepers. I did introduce my twin boys to beach camping, that was a blast. I plan on going back out this Saturday for some evening fishing.
The reds and flounders are biting at fish path jetties. On live finger mullet on a Carolina rig. God bless
Saw you pass by Saturday a few miles past marker 20 just as the pompano bite was slowing down. Gf and I had our best fishing day in months. 4 pompano (one five pounder), small shark, small red and some whiting all in the first and second gut. Only a couple of catfish. Salted shrimp plus fish bites as bait. The water was clear and perfect until the wind picked up around 3pm. Looking forward to future videos.
Sorry about your luck. The weather has been off for sure. But the beach and water look beautiful and I am sure it is a nice relaxing drive.
Thanks for the video. We made a trip from MO a few weeks ago and camped on the beach and fished. Windy, hot but a great time.
Your videos were most helpful. Keep them coming regardless if your catching fish or not. So much good info from driving conditions, clarity, seaweed etc. even a video saying your not catching still has value. Iâd rather watch a real experience than someone using past footage claiming they are currently catching.
I don't know about the rest, but I for one, appreciate a good honest report. A lot of times when I've gotten skunked, I often question my skills, but your video goes to show that it can happen to the best! I also, have seen birds feeding, but get nothing when I cast into that spot.
I guess that it won't be too long before the Pomps start biting.

I live out in the area and the last month has been insane with fishing.. bulls are running, big trout and now pomps are running.. this is the best time of the year to fish.. switch your baits up dude.. i never use a spoon in super clear water, especially when its calm... ive been on that houdini paddle tail killin them for the last few weeks, also voodoo shrimp.. as the water cools ill switch to 5 inchers ... not sure what ratio you use but it looks like you retrieve a little fast.. hope it helps

Went Thursday and caught 2 baby fish in 12 hours smh itâs been rough
The last few months have been tough but the fish are there. Iâve been down 7 times in the past 3 months and Iâve had great weekends and had several terrible weekends as far as filling the box goes. Still would rather be fishing more than anything in the world!! Tight lines and best of luck!!
Let me know when you'd like to come to the galveston area. We can try for some shark.. ive also got a drone to fly the bait out..

We was on pins Fri the 13 limited out on reds at 13-14 miles but like u said sat and sun were horrible and we had to go home Monday do plan on been back in January
In the robot program the fish you catch are on a timer to jump on your hook your living on a robot timer.

When does it cool down on the beach? I was thinking of heading down in the next few weeks/month. I was just going to camp on the beach. Any suggestions besides salted shrimp?
Next week, the cool down begins. I think on Saturday. Take fishbites with you. Live or dead mullet. Then if you catch whiting use as cutbait. You can also take a 1 ounce gold or silver spoon with you
I went yesterday from 4 to 830pm caught about 3 small lady fish. Moved to the channel and not even a bit there. Horrible day
I was out by about 100 yds past the 5 mile marker with my family. We caught a good number of whiting (some big ones too) a small lady fish and surprisingly only 2 hardheads. Not a great fishing day, but not too bad a day, either. The weather was perfect and the water was really clear. Saw a bunch of schools of bate fish. There was a bunch of that seaweed and some jelly fish. Overall we enjoyed the day.
I was at 3 different spots last Monday and Tuesday and nothing...at least I caught a buzz and beautiful weather...my gpa always said its called fishing not catching.

Go the jetties early in the morning
Don't really care for the jetties. Too many people and way to much camera gear to carry out. Plus hard on the fish bringing them to the rocks and the chance of them dying is greater. Not really a jetty man.
Just got here I wanted to ask should I try a gold spoon or silver spoon
Conditions are probably too bad right now for spoons Live mullet or Dead mullet or use fish bites and shrimp
