thebravelittletoaster14 I think most people will consider Yoel more decorated because he won many wrestling tournaments and had a silver medal in a much bigger weightclass. There could be some truth in that Yoel had to wrestle much higher competition relative to his time as a wrestler.
I think he was speaking about the division and not the entire organization although there is an argument that has been going around for years that wrestling at heavier weight classes requires more strength, endurance and skill. Pound for pound tho triple C is the most accomplished wrestler in MMA and GSP and Khabib are the greatest MMA wrestlers of all time with Yoel being a step below those 3

His jiu jitsu looked ok against Kelvin in the 5th but no one he has faced has really tried to force a takedown except Brunson so we can't really say it's bad but it's not crazy good either.

If you watch the fight between Israel and Kelvin you will see that when he throws up the triangle it was after he tried a guillotine and brought kelvin to the ground. He was never taken down during that sequence.

2 things I hate hearing
1. People talking about Yoel’s wrestling as if he uses it in MMA. There was more of a threat with wrestling when he fought Whittaker
2. People saying Justin is khabibs toughest fight... why are y’all looking past tony already. And tony is literally one a huge win streak, he’s a champion and he has just as good of wrestling background as Justin and he’s an elite striker... and has many more skills than Justin
