@@tarikrichardson3268 I will point out the tethered program has been defunct for a while so it may not work to account for everything or be updated on population movements.

no one ever asks the most important questions: why did the “real” Lupita stay underground if there was nothing tethering her there? Why did she dance if the roles were reversed?
YES THIS. I didn't at all understand the mechanics of how the weird twins worked, and also how many of them where their? It seemed like a lot when they were doing their hand thing, but the place they lived didn't look like it could support a large amount of people who couldn't coordinate their decisions

@@hillarypritchard9249 Their point was that the power was never off for those 30 years. The thing is, though, if the escalator was meant to be taken literally, she could have walked up on the stationary bits next to the handrail.

So when it comes to plot holes, his movies are filled with them because of this. I think Jordan Peele is a great filmmaker, but a bad story teller

One of the best films of the last 10 years. I'm a big fan of the classic Twilight Zones, so Us felt like a modern big-budget feature episode of that kind of thing. You leave logic at the door, amplify your suspension of disbelief and just enjoy the ride.

I would absolutely LOVE to see one for Gattaca! I was just thinking about that movie a few days ago.
I think Get Out was a better movie, but I still thoroughly enjoyed this one.
The explanation is what keeps it from being better for me
The only question that is answer within 5 minutes of the film. That being in US for real there are hundreds of thousands of tunnels. A lot of which are abandoned or heavily guarded. So with every state could possibly hold all those tethered. Other than totally a mess if you look close enough.

Thank you for being Honest enough to address most of my questions at the end there. I liked the movie, but that one about where all of their poop was and went bothered me on the drive home.
Also, this is one movie where I was not the only one who was asking a bunch of questions at the end. Just a simple search on CZcams and you'll find a ton of videos on the easter eggs and things you missed for this movie. Those last longer than the movie itself!
When Gabe Wilson put fourth his most noble effort to make a stand at the door, wrestling it shut with one arm and holding a bat with the hand of the other, and the people wrestling the door open from the outside managed to wrestle it open just enough to snag the bat away from him, I scowled. I mean it was such a repulsively believable loss.

Can you guys do an Honest Trailer about The Wicker Man ? The incredibly absorbing dramatic role for Nicholas Cage that shows his full range of acting. I literally cried at the end of it, and still feel the impact that movie made on me to this day. You know that cry that isn't just an emotional cry but like your soul is hurting? That's how great a movie it is.

@@mikekrier1465 Rabbit is different to other meats. Digesting it uses up a couple of essential minerals. If you're not replacing those minerals by eating plants, rabbit meat will eventually kill you. Google it if you don't believe me.

Which this a few days ago for the first time it's such a crazy movie!
Anybody else think this movie was just okay. Not bad but not the greatest horror film ever(like I heard in some promo for the movie.)

Yeahhh well filmed but the story made zero sense
Realistically, I feel like the whole tethered uprising would be taken out in less than a day. They all wear easily identifiable jumpsuits, with no armor or protection of any kind. They only seem to use melee weapons, no guns or explosives. And they're seemingly incapable of disguising themselves or blending in with regular people. Oh, and their big plan after they kill their doppelganger is to stand out in the open in a straight line. A single helicopter with a sharpshooter and enough ammo could take out the whole lot of them.

Just add that to the list of plot holes at the end of the trailer.
I mean honestly, how are the tethered even alive? On a diet of entirely rabbit meat, they should not have survived very long. And if they did, they'd be really sickly and weak. The premise of this movie makes no sense whatsoever.
I think that the while point of "their" plan was to say that they exist and bring attention to their own wants and nerds.
