heres a tip if you're making a power system, do NOT under ANY circumstances be inspired by total concentration breathing. it is probably the worst power system in shonen history
Demon slayer imo is the worst example of this, their power system is totally fucked up because most of their abilities are legit copy and pasted of the same thing, not to mention, the writing also made it even worse Because no hashira has gotten the mark yet not until tanjiro came along. Ironically, jjba part 1-2 has better total concentration breathing system, because the way they use it is actually is smart and unique, Joseph especially has the best use of it, making a use out of his hamon with glass and other utilities with his tools

Nen and Stands trump as the greatest power systems. I say this because in these 2 systems the users PERSONALITY and CHARACTER greatly impact the way they use their powers. It’s also interesting because in these stories the deeper a person digs into themselves and accepts who they truly are, the stronger they eventually become.

Generally, if you want to write a “perfect” power system you need 3 core things. 1. You need a basic battery system. Think of Nen, ki, or chakra as an example of a battery system. A battery system allows a character to create energy based attacks through manipulating magic energy, their life force, etc. Ideally this should allow individual characters the ability to express themselves through their techniques. Like you said killua uses his transmutation abilities to create lightning, representing his past trauma turning into a power for him. Obviously though, there should be limitations and rules on how these abilities can be developed, just not TOO many otherwise you begin to constrain and weaken your power system. Naruto’s chakra is an example of this as theoretically you should be able to emit chakra from any part of your body but kishimoto limited most nature energies to basic breath attacks. Whether intentionally or unintentionally the result of this was that chakra became irrelevant over time as the system became focused on basic and powerful attacks like the rasengan, making the fights boring. A battery system is good when it allows for unique created abilities that represent a characters life and backstory. That means having limitations but not TOO many limitations, allowing a writer to express themselves and develop the world at the same time. 2. Secondly, you need an external power system. This can be something like a binding vow in JJk that allows you to increase and change your own powers through making a separate vow, or nature energy in Naruto which operates as an external battery system separate from the main battery system (meaning different rules, consequences, and benefits). The point of an external system is to elaborate and expand on a base battery system. You don’t want to create an external system if you haven’t created a balanced battery system because then you’ll end up with too many cooks in the kitchen never developing either to its full potential. Nature energy in Naruto could’ve operated as an entirely sperate system only accessible to a few characters powerful enough to obtain sage mode and nature energy, thus developing their characters to a greater extent than with just the base level battery system. Everyone is already unique in how they use their base battery powers but they’re even MORE unique in how they develop under an entirely separate system, opening up doors for new character traits, backstories, and plots. It should be noted however that a battery system is internal (it originates from a persons life force) and an external system is based on external energy/ powers. Essentially If your battery system is your own life force then your external system is something that elaborates on that or originates from an entirely separate energy or battery system. 3. Lastly, you need techniques unique to individual users. Stands and devil fruits are the best example of this since they offer people incredibly niche abilities that can overcome otherwise op battery powers where a characters taw aura or or energy allows them to overpower their opponents. It’s not impossible to create these sort of abilities from a battery system but then again the point of a battery system is that there are some limitations to what characters can do. Unique techniques can offer a writer a way to balance that by creating entirely unique powers separate from the base system, creating new problems and new character traits to match the powers of those characters.
I think spiritual energy or pressure from bleach should fit in this category in my opinion.
I will comment here just to remind myself of this when making my manga, thank you so much
In the end every thing can be boiled down to magic the most important thing is presentation and communication with the reader.

My power system revolves around deityss giving humans abilities through tattoos/markings called "Glyphs", and those with these Glyphs are called champions. The stamina for this is called "Genesis" the energy made from the union of Divine and mortal energies. Abilities granted by ones deity are called "Miracles" they revolve around the domain of that exact deity, but they are slightly modified to the era and the personality of the champion. I took inspiration from Hxh nen conditions, and made "Offerings" a condition, or an oath where you sacrifice or restrict something, or an aspect of something, to gain something else from your deity, whether it be a buff, a new ability or even a modification to ones body that can be a disadvantage at times.Theres also quests, invitations into dungeons made of Genesis, they contain monsters inside them, but if you don't clear the quest within a certain time, the monsters inside will emerge into the mortal realm, 2x stronger than when they were in the dungeon. The main character is the champion of Osiris, his main miracle is that he can't die, whether it's through regeneration, or poison immunity, but he has an offensive miracle, still dont know what it gon do n how it'll tie into the modern era and his personality 🤔 (hes just a non-chalant guy who harbors deep desire for revenge within his heart, because of a past betrayal that caused him to die, but he was soon revived by Osiris and made his champion)

One time when I was a kid, I wrote a book with a kinda interesting power system. In this world, there are gods, and they created and affect the world, similar to Greek gods and stuff. When a god creates/reproduces a person, they are called a "Pure Elemental". These people were usually CRAZY strong, had powers related to the god's domain, and treated as royalty. When a pure elemental has a kid, they can pass on their powers to the kid, but only after dying. Like, if a P.E can manipulate lightning, after they die, their kid can manipulate lightning. But in the world, there are only 5 Pure Elemental bloodlines.
There are also "Blessings." Blessings exist when a god chooses a child to bear a heavy fate, and the kid gets a power that will help them in completing what the god wants them to do. A pair of twins in the story that are blessings can travel via shadows and dark places, and their fate is that they will betray and befriend, connect, be transport, be messengers, keep everything interconnected, to implode a system, to rewire the way of the story. In a nutshell, they're there to screw things up, even if unintentional.
Man you deserve some views + subs , you really make a video about my favourite 3 power system 😊.
Personal opinion, i always love OP power system everytime because of the power limitation and balanced + unique way to use your power + you can fight in any way you just want + still not broken to need asspull and complecated to understand.
I needed to hear this. I’m writing a power system cause I want good build up and pay off. Knowing how the character reacts to said power system says something about them.
Thanks bro this vid change's the way I view power system 👍
I like simple plain power system like fist of north star or fist of blue sky, but the author put this power suitable adapt to narrative/story and the power application execution are dope.
For my fantasy world I came up with a separate power system for each of the main species, partially inspired by various anime (And videos like this one), but I'm still coming up with the exact details... except for demons, who are already done.
The way demons work, is that they're born looking like completely normal humans, (except they grow up at half the pace meaning they're kids until their mid-20's, and are on average 20cm taller upon reaching adulthood), but depending on their lineage and the phase of the moon they're born under a specific feeling becomes their temptation- but rather than making them feel good, following this emotion directly increases their physical power and gives them access to demonic sorcery (Which is basically instinctual control over elements like wind, water or fire, as well as gravity), but at the same time as a demon keeps giving in to this temptation of power their bodies begin to change, starting with horn or multiple horns growing from their head, then their entire body becoming deformed and covered in dark bonelike shell, and even their minds are changed becoming more animalistic- everything slow enought that they barely notice.
However, what makes demons trully special is that those who refuse to fully give in to that temptation can dabble into human magic (Which is creation and manipulating of energy and reality itself), and if they achieve balance they can effectively master two power systems at once, becoming an absolute menace.

Nice video! Love HxH and didnt know the system of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure so far.
I think you really sell the chakra system from Naruto short. You are right, it went really wild in the end and Power Scaling is a serious issue, but some parts of it are really great. Elements, Chakra control, different Jutsu types or even Kekkai Genkai were stuff I really enjoyed and where outsmarting the enemy was really necessary. (E.g. the fight of Sasuke against Deidara, or Shikamaru against the immortal guy were really great).

in my opinion a good power system is able to be understood simply, but can later be expanded upon within its own rules to make more powerful or interesting powers. Nen is a good example of this, one of the worst things a power system can do is keep adding rules or be too complex for readers to understand.
The way i craft power/magic systems is i figure out the theme i want to base the magic on, e.g Duality, Sacrifice etc and then write around that theme.
Funny how this comes up while i was developing my own power system for my story
It also makes me realize that the power system im making is actually eerliy similar to HXH even though ive never actually watched or read it
I think right now im working on the trump card aspect of it
Like a thing that is the Pinnacle of the system like domain expansion or bankai
To be fair, Nen isn’t far off from being a perfect power system. So, in a way you should be happy that your system is similar to Nen. I’m working on a power system right now that loosely involves colors and their representation of personality with different aspects of the system attached to it. As for Trump Card, I think it might be a good idea to give every individual person a unique (or maybe even not so unique) ability they utilize alongside their base powers. In my story, I have the set up system and something called “Divine Gifts” which are abilities someone is just born with that is usually unique to them save from a few outlier scenarios.
@@Juiceman117 I actually having something similar in my power system
And yours actually seems really interesting as it's pretty similar to mine
You see it's based around magic and everything but the magic you have is based both around your parents and your own personality
So like say one parent has fire manipulation and another earth manipulation
The logical next step would be lava manipulation for the kid
But based on the personality of the kid it could be lava manipulation or it just be heat manipulation or the ability to summon meteors
Basically the main idea of the power you get at birth stays the same but based on your personality you can have a different variation.
Another thing is that magic is the creation of all abilities so everything is a branch off from that
There's a few other things to note as well but those are some of the most important things

Bungo Stray Dogs and FMAB were underrated power systems, should’ve include them unless you haven’t seen it yet
Pretty sure FMA power system is pretty praised considering its part of one of the most praised anime ever, BSD is understandably underrated though, the fact that there seems to be nothing connecting them seems random but the powers do be creative af and are named after real world literature
Chain jail is the only of Kurapikas chains that he can only use on a phantom troupe member.
I don’t get why people hate on Total Concentration Breathing. It’s not a Top-Tier power system, but it does what it needs to: allow cool fights to happen. The best power systems do that and more, but TCB is effective as a power system. It also plays into the themes of Strength vs Power. The Demon slayers at every level get outclassed by Demons, but through Grit, Determination, and a whole lot of broken swords, they can overcome evil.
Its bad because it lacks creativity, take example hamon from Jojo part 2, they are similiar, they use breathing as their source for power, but in DS they have the same fighting style, just different effect, but in Jojo they actually use it with creativity, such as Joseph use a glass and use hamon on it to deflect a laser.
@@fikrilahh6040 I think the whole point is that demon slayers fight at nature's side with the elemental powers while the demons have the "creative powers" that alter the laws of nature. Actually, thats my favourite thing in demon slayer on season 2 and 3 I was like how they will beat a character with this ability I mean upermoons are god level compared to the slayers.
@@fikrilahh6040 But DS is actual breathing techniques. Not real life techniques I mean in anime it just breathing techniques for wielding the sword better and to enhance their physicality.
You won't see the effects if you were in the anime. Those effects r made for viewers. They are fighting like normal sword fighter we see in real life. There's no magic in there. Unless it comes from demon.
Whereas Jojo is magic system.
Another amazing power system is the majic system of Whitch Hat Atelier. The way .anic works in that sieries is a metaphore for the ability, skill, and devotion required to make amazing art. Spells are sigils that look similar to Owl House but like 100 times better and its also i corporates the personality of the characters into the spells they create. There are basic rules and basic elements that make up spells. But when put together in specific configurations you can do anything from making boots that allow you to fly to at really high level mastery the ability to enchant objects that can part oceans. The obstacles that the characters encounter require them to use their skills and creativity to create they own spells to solve their issues. Also the story and artwork is and absolute 10/10 with its almost medieval story book art style.
Demon Slayers total concentration breathing makes no sense
Well the elements and stuff are just visual effects + people kinda do it in real life the world record for the longest someone held their breath underwater in ice water only could do it because of his breathing
@@FirePeg-fp4hgthat's the thing, why on earth would the author choose to make it just a visual effect? There's literally only downsides to that, like who's the guy complaining that the show about hunting demons was too unrealistic because people can't actually cause elements to manifest in real life like c'mon
@@lancearnedo7837that and we have seen in both the manga and anime the elements they are trying to copy are actually doing stuff like the illusion of fire or water coming out of a sword is still blocking attacks

As for describing Zoans the worst category it depends.Onigumo is a simple spider yet go fench with him with 9 swords instead of one. Then there's Luffy , Sengoku and Kaido.Do they need any introduction? Moreover , the dinosaurs. The prehistoric beasts.Kaku being a giraffe is the best option out of any of the Cipher Pols. His hybrid form was severly tough to beat because you are looking at just Kaku like the usual Kaku , but he's also 6 metres tall and can perform his Rokushiki like when he is human.
Also i am pretty sure the Jacket Jacket fruit isn't a Zoan type.
Oh wow just realized that these three animes are my top 3
I will be real with you this is easily one of the hardest part so unless you're 100% sure I will say don't set things in stone and keep it open with no hard rules remember some of the best fictions like lotr don't have their entire magic or fight system set in stone.
Personally I think Stands is the best power system ever created . It’s basically a personality quiz but with superpowers and stand design. Plus on top of that JoJo even incorporates vampirism, Hamon, and even Spin enhancing Stands even more.
jojo POWER SYSTEMS:
part 1: special breathing and sun light gives super powers! if you wear this mask you can turn into vampire! (you should put blood on the mask for extra measure😃)
Part 2: There is still power breathing but there is also big buff men called pillar men (their basically vampires with power) and the stone of Aja which is concentrated power breathing i guess.
part 3: There are spirits from the soul called 'stands" which can do things based on their personality and stuff. (it changes a lot and is literally used for the rest of the anime)
part 4: There is still fight spirits but this time there is a arrow which can "evolve" stands, (this is further expanded in part 5)
part 5: there is a arrow that would make a stand turn *requiem* it is either has a very complicated meaning or just an ass pull.
part 6: there is still stands but there is a dude name Pucci that is "friends" with an other dude named DIO. after some shenanigans there is a greeen baeby which can evolve wite snek into C-MOON. Then after some more shenanigans it can access MIH (Made In Heaven) which would ultimately reset the the universe (with even more shenanigans!).
part 7: It is a new universe! (but there is still stands). but also spin *balls* (there are some more *shenanigans*) and there is also a "holy corpse" which is just Jesus' body. if fused it can bring good fortune
part 8: there are still stands, but there is a disease which can make people into rocks..., and there is a Locaca fruit that cure anything but if you make a sacrifice too.
nice
I have to disagree with one thing: Nen would absolutely work in JOJO. Moreso the parts 1 and 2 than any other part.
Ok let’s go
edit: damn i didnt realise i yapped this much lmao
this is a little niche (not niche at all if you have read web novels). but my personal favourite power system is from a novel called Lord Of The Mysteries, at first glance it seems limited you have 22 pathways to pick from each representing a concept, and to go further down your pathway you need to do rituals and brew potions made from ancient creatures. But everytime you take another step down the pathway you lose a bit of humanity and (MINOR SPOILER WARNING) slowly change into a mythical creature that fully represents your pathway. For example: there is one pathway who's main concept is war and destruction, the mythical creature form for this pathway is a flaming meteor. Or a pathway whos main concept is controlling and fooling their mythical creature form is a large clump of maggots.
to further differentiate those on the same pathway there are all sorts of crazy rituals and artefacts that give power with a random drawback. such as a glove that can absorb powers but needs to be fed a living human everyday (called creeping hunger).
I'm working on multiple power systems for my own project; a science fantasy world with emphasis on individual freedoms and ambition. Magic and technology coexist, and can even be combined. There is also inherent powers such as Psionics, and more mysterious things like ancient curses and divine relics.
The main power system is magic, which is used through a language that must be learned and personally understood in order to cast spells, of which its as simple as stringing together the language like speaking to make very specific spells for a variety of purposes. Each "word" is based on a concept like heat, time, life, ect.
Though what affects spells the most is the intention behind the words. If you're trying to heal someone who is sick with magic and your intentions aren't genuine or certain, then it's effectiveness could be dampened or even have adverse or unforseen consequences.
In one of my systems I have a power that’s exactly like the language power that you created but it’s also different at the same time.
Perfect timing, I was searching the exact same thing today, for my manga

My power system:(tell me if it’s good or nah) So basically shooting stars give people these powers called an Apex. These powers are completely uncanny and diverse but not as wacky as like quirks or dvlfruits. There are special Apexes called a divine Apex, basically they’re the most powerful and are 6 of em. Divine Apexes each have a unique color/element, a weapon that can be created by that element, and armor mode. Each divine apex has its own beliefs/ideology and the more the user matches it the stronger it becomes.

ive had ideas for a battle manga for a while, its about people who though a traumatic event and blood being spilt gain an ability from one of 11 elements called a bloodright, and about a guy trying to use his power to improve the world and eventually take on the gods who gave people bloodrights though their sealing, i feel like the big issue with it is writing believable characters and names, i have several dozen characters and exactly 1 name and i feel like i cant write dialogue to save my life, i dont know if i will ever actually write it but i have a story in my mind i would love to share with others
edit- i go into more detain on the system in the replys cuz i realised i actually gave very little info on it in this message, but im curious to see what people think of the idea and how i could maybe improve it
for a bit more depth on the system, like i said there are 11 elements, but really only 10, as one is a hybrid element, most of them are standard elements but give me plenty of room for cool abilities, such a dark element ability that allows someone to manipulate shadows or a nature element which lets them generate any type of plant on their body. one major thing the system would be built on would be balance, as more complicated or powerful abilities usually come with bigger drawbacks, making simpler abilities far better, for example, one character in the main cast can use photosynthesis, unleashing very powerful blasts using the sun's energy, but he can only store so much energy at once and needs to stop moving to recharge it.
on top of this, a secondary power runs with the bloodrights called aura, being the way people fought the gods before bloodrights were created, at low levels it can be used to detect someone in a crowd and is mostly a hindrance, but some people are able to solidify it after hard training, letting them power up their attacks and completely prevent those who cant solidify aura from attacking them, plus some bloodrights work along side aura, such as the MC whose ability allows him to convert his aura into water he can control, eventually learning how to heat the water to attack with steam as well, or others who are able to use their abilities anywhere inside their aura, making those who are naturally more powerful be able to use their abilities across wider ranges.
this isnt everything as i dont want to get into the nitty gritty of every ability, but im curious to see what you think about the system and if you would read a series about it, unfortunately i will probably never be able to make a proper manga since i cant draw to save my life, but maybe one day i will be able to make this into a light novel or something, again, let me know if you would find it an entertaining system to see in a series
Bruh im literally like 15 episodes from catching up to one piece and I'm still seeing spoilers for egghead arc.
IMO One Piece's Haki is not really a good addition to its already amazing power system.
Pre-timeskip the characters have to fight smart to overcome enemies' Logia's OP'ness (Luffy using water and his own blood against Crocodile; Rubber property against Enel; Strawhats using salt against Moria, etc...) which is a more creative way to write the story, instead of "just punch harder with black fist".
The limitation of Devil's Fruit ability can't affect user with stronger Haki also scream "my power is bigger than you" system to me.
Well, haki is needed. Otherwise, logias would be unstoppable, and certain df would just be 1 shot kills
And besides, I think the aspect of df not affecting haki only works with specific devil fruit attributes or abilities
Like how law couldn't cut, switch souls or teleport with big mom and kaido but could silence her using his df
Or how luffy was able to turn kaido to rubber
So I think the limitation of df only applies to certain abilities and not every ability

Pursuit of Heaven Power system:
“Pursuit of heaven” takes place in a world where samurai utilize an energy known as “Prana” to fight against each other and other worldly beings.
Vibrations are the essence of Prana, and depending on a person's soul/spirit, their prana will either be low frequency prana/low vibrations or high frequency prana/high vibrations, the vibrations an individual has will dictate their Magical Affinities/Associations.
Prana/Atman/Nadi systems/Shindo:
Prana is the most important component for beings in the world of “Pursuit of heaven”. Prana is the energy that allows Samurai to perform many techniques that aid in fighting against opponents. Vibrations are the essence of prana and when an individual learns how to manipulate their vibrations they can learn how to use prana in various ways. (Prana is what vibrations are)
Everyone in the world of “pursuit of heaven” has prana. It just takes practice/skill to learn how to manipulate.
There are two types of Vibrations that can be potentially used:
Physical/Soto/out: Physical vibrations.
Spiritual/Noto/In: Spiritual vibrations.
(Soto/Out)
The utilization of Physical vibrations/prana allows an individual to strengthen their physical bodies for combat. To actually utilize Physical vibrations a samurai must know how to extract prana from their (atman/soul) by using the Nadi systems which are essentially networks in the atman that carry/hold prana. One must practice “Yama” which is a type of Meditation technique that allows an individual to extract prana from their atmanic pool, with the Nadi systems, and then to the Physical Body. By doing this an individual can boost their physical bodies power and speed drastically, the better an individual is at utilizing/flowing prana into their physical bodies, the stronger they can become physically. (Soto/out). The stronger an individual is physically the more endurance they will have while Using prana/Fighting, this is the primary reason why (Soto/out) is so important.
(Noto/in)
The utilization of Spiritual/atmanic vibrations is much more broad in terms of ability. To utilize Spiritual vibrations an individual just like (Soto/out), must know how to move prana through the Nadi pathways, but they must also know how to vibrate their (Atman/soul). (Noto/in) has two techniques that are essentially the umbrella factor for every power that can be used spiritually:
Source prana/Riyu: Pure unchanged prana/varies from person to person.
Shake prana/Shindo: Prana that has been changed/molded into magic by vibrating.
(Riyu/Source prana)
Riyu/source is essentially pure Prana/vibrations that an individual can materialize out of their atmanic pool with the Nadi systems. There are many techniques an individual can use with this pure prana (Riyu Techniques), this is the energy that allows every other spiritual technique to be used.
(I’m not really done explaining “Riyu” as I hope to make it much more complex in the future.) Usually warriors that prefer to indulge in Hand to hand combat rather than Fighting from a distance will use “Riyu” (prana/vibrations) in its pure form more often than “shindo”.
“Shake prana/Shindo” is a technique that a warrior can use to turn their Prana into a type of magic for fighting.
Shindo: when a warrior vibrates their soul and connects to a synonymous realm with their prana, they can shape their prana into magic that the realm holds. Shindo is essentially the process of an individual vibrating their prana/atman and while resonating on the same frequency as an elemental plane, molding said prana into magic/the elemental power that the realm represents/holds.
(So warriors are able to connect to a sub realm synonymous with their atmanic path with their Riyu/pure vibrations, and turn it into magic from the realm that they are resonating with.)
More advanced explanation
Shake prana/Shindo:
Vibrational range/Vibrational magic/Shindo: The vibrational range of an individual is based on their atmanic path (where their atman was when it bloomed/up realm-(pengala) or lowrealm-(ida)) and also what elemental plane their atman is synonymous with. When an individual vibrates, (at the correct frequency as a sub realm their atman is synonymous with), (Noto/in) their atman connects to a realm/subrealm inside of their vibrational range, and allows them to mold their prana into magic that the realm holds, by vibrating their atman and connecting with said realm. This Technique of vibrating and molding prana is called “Shindo '' which means “vibrating”.
There are many more techniques that were developed during the “warriors wind/Kaze period” which was a great era of pranayama technique development. “Shindo/Shake prana” and “Riyu/Source prana” are just the basics of the system.
Blossom Form
This is the ultimate power of pursuit of heaven that’s only achieved when an individual's vibrations are able to connect with their “Soul plant” and extract their atman into the real world by getting it to blossom.
A blossom form in the world of “pursuit of heaven” is the form an individual reaches when they achieve “divine resonance/Kogoshi grade samurai”.
In the world of “pursuit of heaven” atman is created when a “soul plant” from the “Soul wreath” binds to a suitable body on earth. This connection of the Soul plant and a body is what creates/links atman to an individual. To actually achieve a blossom form a warrior must achieve “divine resonance” which is the hardest power to acquire in the series. Having divine resonance is essentially the ability to resonate at the same level as your “soul plant” allowing an individual after many years of practice/vibrational mastery, to extract their soul plant and Blossom their atman into the real world.
Blossom forms are extremely hard to achieve, only a handful of great warriors have been able to Become “Kogoshi Grade” warriors. Although it’s hard to achieve, everyone has the ability to achieve a blossom form.
The entire system is about growth and self realization, the more in tune with yourself the higher your power.
Are you Indian? 😮
Using words like Prana, Nadi, Atama.
@@Vor567tezno…. but I did a whole lot of research in the pursuit of creating this power system. I know most of the teaching come from Hinduism, and Buddhism.
@@Vor567tez did you enjoy the system? I feel like it might be hard to understand.
@@bourne8636 I want to ask, how do the system reflect in Samurai?
Can you give an example?
@@Vor567tez Could you rephrase that? It seems like you’re asking what does prana have to do with samurai? If that’s the case it’s rather simple, samurai and enlightenment/Buddhism go hand and hand. The goal of most samurai in history is to attain enlightenment, the blossom form in my series is basically a type of enlightenment that samurai want to achieve.
About JoJo... I mean, every esper-type power system is pretty balanced
Where is jjk ?
Hunter Hunters Nen is very similar to Cursed Energy
@@ssaintz645 but CT and it's limitations, DE, And many others non innate technique is top tier for me.
Isn’t haki just giving people power level ? Kaido has higher power level/haki so no One can beat him, he tanks all that damage not because of his df but just cause he’s strong, it just returns back to where we started. How is haki built up, if through physical training than we just let go of the whole system we had built garp and roger were one of the strongest in the verse and match strong guys like wb just cause they train harder that’s not a well built ps, and it started off unique but everyone just seems to have conquerer haki now.
This depends. Any other Haki can be trained like armament and observation. The only one that isn’t able to be obtained normally is conquerers, which is used by those who have the ambition of a king.
How to write a “How to write a “perfect” power system” video
😂
Probably top 10 things you should NEVER do with power systems: have an amazing power system but the mc gets the most basic abilities.
This can vary. You want a power that matches your main characters personality and style while also being easy for the audience to understand, as we’ll most likely be spending the most time with them.
A certain magical index has 2 complex power system also has multi sub system inside system
Scientific super powers vs fantascial magic wizardry systems and religion basicly explain sufruce level Knowledge of franchise
I got the idk from hearing hunter hunter, it was hard to watch just cause he’s talking so much about that show
Midwit
Nobody talks about undead unluck’s system. Negation abilities are the best
I would change One Piece to Jujutsu Kaisen. It's similar to HxH and Jojo, except characters throw hands and not just exchange moves.
It was good until Mr. plot armor started spamming binding vows
@@lukeskywalker8706 He did like 5 vows n one was made in the heian era lol
Its basically Nen but more confusing tbh. Nen is just superior. Devil Fruits are a lot more different
Haki is a awful powersystem
Nen too detailed that is not true A certain magical index more complex and has 2 main power system one is magic other is pycichic super powers but also they have own sub power sytem example magic has alchemy, sorcerery, religion based miricales also scientific pycichic powers has chemistry, physics, computer science, telekenisis, pryokenesis,
vector kenesis ,
regeneration
electrokenesis, telepalty
imo, stand isn't really a "system" like it doesn't work in that regard.
Dude devil fruit is literally a dogshit power system same with haki its literally "my thing is bigger than yours"that you critisized bleach and naruto for one piece is good but the power system is one of its worst aspect
Exactly, while I still like both systems, they literally are shown to be “bigger/stronger thing always beats weaker thing/less amount of thing”
i would replace it with jjk tbh
"My thing is bigger than your"- just say only watch Luffy G5 vs Kaido fight and didn't watch anything. Or you just didn't watch this guy's video properly, and Curse technique is just Nen, Gaygay is just copy paste it with some bankai's copy domain expansion
Haki, I agree, but how are Devil Fruits dogshit? Even some of the worst abilities like Caribou's Numa Numa no Mi have some incredibly useful abilities, turning his body into a fucking pocket dimension lmao
Idk I would have given Charka the title of best power system in the big 3 if it wasn't for War arc and Boruto. Devil fruits are still relatively consistent, its simplistic and its creative. Chakra is more complex but the bad kind of complex. The good kind of complex is Nen
Personally still think Nen is a garbage power system
But Spoiler Alert for One Piece
One Piece actually only has one power system even when it originally looks like they're 2 unrelated one's, it's desire or dreams
Midwit take
W comment, I like the one piece power system as a whole because of how diverse the powers are !!!!
What if my story doesn’t have one I mean like what’s the power system for breaking bad ya know? Or are we only focusing on anime
the power system is chemistry
@@chocolatebar6785 🤣 are you serious or just humoring my comment
