Are you tired of constantly shooting low and left?
It's frustrating, isn't it? No matter how hard you try, your shots consistently end up low and left. But why does this happen? Well, I'm here to solve that mystery for you.
Hi, I'm a professional shooter and today, I'm going to guide you through the ultimate solution to overcoming those low and left shots.
The most common reason for shooting low and left is improper trigger control. This means you're using too much trigger finger.
Instead, focus on using the pad of your fingertip, not the crease. This will help maintain consistent pressure and prevent pushing your shots off-target.
Remember, smooth and controlled trigger pull is critical for accuracy.
Another possible reason for low and left shots is improper grip and stance. Ensure your grip is firm, but not overly tight, and maintain a stable platform with a balanced and relaxed stance.
Don't forget to align your sights properly and focus on the front sight. This will help you consistently hit your target dead center.
Lastly, practice, practice, practice! The more you train and develop muscle memory, the better your accuracy will become.

Thank you, this is the best, thorough yet understandable explanation I've seen! I had a huge problem with shooting low/right (left handed) with my Glock 19, and other people convinced me that the problem was the weighty trigger.

I have one 1911 that used to be right on all the time, but lately, it seems to be low and left. Not by a little, but a lot, like 12-14 inches left and 12-14 inches low at 15 yards. Now my other 1911s are still in the target area usually within a 6 inch circle of the bull's eye. Since I'm still on with the others, I have thought it is the pistol, but I can't fine anything off on it in disassembly. I'm beginning to think I am shooting it differently for some reason, and after your description, I think I'll set up a video of me from the side to see if I am jerking or moving.
Possibly the only improvement I can see on your video is that you paint your sights so that they show up against the yellow so we can see them. Thanks.

I shoot competion .22 onehanded at 25 yards. I recently got my first gun. A smith and wesson model 41 with the 5.5 inch heavy barrel. I shoot low with it more kften then not. Your the first one that tells me to use the waist to aim. But it makes sense. You don't turn with the arms just as you said. I will try that the next time im at the range.

Great video I’m getting better I still shoot left not horrible but left. I’m left eye dominant and shoot right handed.
Start using the tip of your Finger not the Crease, slowly press the Trigger until the pistol cuts
@@johnthefirearmsinstructor 10-4,I’m going to range tomorrow. I did change my grip it helped a lot. But your prob right too much finger. I’m great combat shooter but want to really work on marksmanship. Like to start doing matchups at local tournaments
I have been putting it over my nose as well. I'm right hand right eye dominant and I wondered this as well. I do still have some squeeze and trigger pull issues though.

What about different grip sizes and hand sizes. Does finger tip rule apply 100% of the time?
In the vast majority of cases the fingertip rule applies just because of how your hand is built. As you creep further on the trigger you tend to roll your finger instead of coming straight back.
This is a great video. I have theses issues but I have another one. I am left eye dominant and right handed. I put the gun over my nose so to speak and then turn my head to the right for my left eye. What could I do better? By the way I love the 5 bullets at a time idea.

What you recommend for right hand shooting with left eye dominant?
Make sure you watch the our Video on proper grip. The importance of marrying the weapon and your dominant eye is so important make sure that you engage the trigger that you are pressing the trigger and not pulling the trigger. It’s very common for someone who’s right handed and left eye dominant to push the weapon left with the trigger, it’s the tip of the finger not the trigger finger crease
I also found that too much pressure with my thumps will cause me to shoot low and left
Are you left handed? If so I could see that
But if right handed it’s mostly likely trigger pressure. Most right handed students shoot left in low left because of pulling the trigger and not pressing the trigger. Next time you’re at the range, make sure you use the tip of your finger and slowly press the trigger. Don’t pull the trigger
Remember the shot should surprise ya
Question: what about left eye dominance and right hand is dominant?
The Tip is to make Sute your chin and Dominant Eye are inline with the Firearm.
Meaning turn you chin to the left
I think you forgot to mention to have your friend load some dummy rounds in your mag to catch you. Flinching when you think you're pulling the trigger on a live round

I got a FN 502 here recently and out the wolf pro red dot on it. The impacts I’m getting are like a inch to the left and if I try to adjust the red dot to hit more to the right then my dot sits past the left side of the front iron sight. I don’t have this issue out of any of my other firearms with dots on them. I can’t figure out the issue
Make sure your sand Bagging or Bracing the pistol and make sure you sight the pistol at 10 yards or better.
Hand holding and adjusting can be challenging
I shoot with a Glock pistol from a distance of 25 meters with one hand. What is the way to keep my hand and the pistol on the target before the bullet fires?
Glock Trigger are Stiff
I would Recommend Dry Firing
Go back to Two Hands combat Grip
Your Dominant hand should be 40% squeeze and Your Non Dominant hand should be 60%
Start at 3yards and 6in circle
Make sure you have A Good Trigger press
Everything he said applies to left handed shooters, except we tend to hit low right.
