I just bout this extension, I have everything connected, but my y axis is moving in reverse I.e. forward is backward etc. I checked my plugins and they’re all in the correct spots, any ideas?

Contact where you bought it from. It sounds like the Y axis stepper motor cable that came with the kit has two pins installed reversed.
