I think it deserves to stay the way it is, the combination of low speed and slow rudder, the armor that all destroyers can pen with HE and the bad fireing angles are enouth to balance the power of 16 guns. Its a ship that players with 200 battles with a majority in the pre nerf weimar will strugle in. If you can play fiji and minotaur effectively you wil perform well in plymouth, unfortunatly a majority will never get this ship and never understand its weaknesses while complaining its op because got killed by one, they also don't think that most of tge people that naje videos on it are good players or good matches. Anyway very good video keep it up.
I just dont get why this thing gets a much better radar than the Belfast 43. I thought the 43 was supposed to the Utility ship and this thing is the DPS ship.
I get why the Plymouth gets the reload and poor armour, it's the ships schtick. But it shouldn't get extra torps, improved sonar and radar. Makes no sense.
Is the radar this thing can have really necessary? Seriously, why does a T7 cruiser with this much DPM potential get the same radar as Mino and DM (pre-nerf of course), and both of those are LT... 🙄
I feel the armour is correct it's a light cruiser and we honestly have to think wiemar for all this i remember how people stated for how long it's over powered and should be a t7 well since they gave the refund now they can nerf and not have to deal with that again. Is the ship strong yeah it seems but Britt AP and allot of them always hurt Dds.
Also my days of spending big money are over the wife went blind and no more income plus I've spent north of 8k over the years so sadly ill never have her
Word of warning, Wargaming will sell you an insanely overpowered ship but you are only renting it for a few months. Once the cash dries up Wargaming will nerf it, change the game mechanics or more it up in tier. They will do whatever it takes to make it irrelevant so you will be forced to buy the next insanely overpowered premium ship.
Final boss and princeblip said on stream that since the comunity complains about them changing ships when switching tiers they would release it this way as a test.
What if someone's sells u a Lamborghini, then after a while it will reduce power of your engine (legaly), replace wheels with some crap one and do other modification to your car? Is not your Lambo anymore right. Before a ship is released they do test it so they know they are selling. If they release a strong ship just to sell lots of them then to nerf it or move it to higher tier ...is just a scam for me. They are scammers. If that ship is so dangerous they should remove it from shop. That's it. For people who got it, leave it as it is because they paid for exactly that. Not more or less. I spent tons on money on this game and i jave more than 95% of premium and very rare ships. But if they start doing this kind of crap I m done with them. That would be a legal scam. Simple
Great game and great video. It takes a bit more time to get it done, but the added value makes it worth it. I don't think Plymouth needs a nerf. She is very weak defensively, with Belfasts hull. Btw, Republique can also overmatch Edinburghs bow.

Smoke cruises are the most boring way to play without skills so i prefer to play more dangerous and have good island position like any other cruiser! And no the doubloons are not worthy! Unpopular opinion: Plymouth isn't overpowered and let me explain. Yes it's guns are absolutely nasty if used properly since you only have AP which can only take you so far. And it has mino radar. It's role is like a heavily armed heavy destroyer. However, it has ZERO armor. A 16 mm bow at tier 7 is extremely low. Any BB or even super heavy cruisers such as Azuma that touch this thing and it's a citadel. Maneuverability is also pretty average at best. Speed is decent but rudder shift is pretty slow. Like I said, it only has AP shells and no HE, it can only take you so far. You can't HE spam in this and superstructure damage only lasts so long if they're bow in. If their broadside though, it's their own fault and they should go back to port.

It is a good ship but not great I think the constant first week nerf debate has gone just to far the armor sucks .So why cant it just collect some stats and wait for WG to do there thing .Do we really need this Kleber level debate all over again.There are players out there that is not at the same level as the best.I trye most build got some 50 battles in the Plymouth and I find it to be best with a smoke build but it is a realy boring way to play Crusiers so all in all a good ship but with a boring playstyle.If the ship had some speed and rudder it would for sure be a to strong ship but for now it is not.
Not sure why she wasn’t put in tier 8. I think it fits better there.

I noticed not everyone was good with the Weimar by far either, but that didn't stop the axe. Nope I say nerf it or move it to T-8.
