Got so lucky with him missing the fork! Even games that don’t go well have a lot of educational value.
I definitely get what you’re saying about the loss of confidence after a bad move. Sometimes I notice the opposite happen too in lower ratings. After the opponent gets too confident sometimes they don’t pay attention to what you’re doing and blunder
😅I thought he would win after he got his opponents queen but like he said series of bad moves and his opponent still had the two knights and rook than promoting the pawn he could’ve won like he showed after the game probably the fact he’s streaming and explaining took away a little from his focus but ok enjoyed anyway
Amazing that a master gets that snowball affect too.
Sadly, I have broken two phones...
The tilt is real
Pls see mine
Me one 😂😂
You don't need a new phone. You need a new brain
I did crack my iPad screen with an angry finger poke 😓 it’s fine 🙈
This is an outstanding video, thank you for having the courage to post it. The downward spiral is very real. Do you have a routine to recognize it and recenter? I would love to see a video on that topic!
We want 2 hours lives again, they make me fall asleep ❤❤
Is that supposed to be a compliment💀
@@gorgor-real If i watch an entertaining stream from my bed... i will have trouble concentrating and my eyes get heavy in 15 minutes. Nothing at all to do with the quality of the stream.
@@gorgor-real yeah i love his lives
@@AngRyGohan exactly
I learned how to think ahead one by one. Thanks bro really liked ur video❤
I’ve had some deep lows in chess lately. I tend to miss my opponents mistakes when I’m in that mindset. This game was rough though, were some nice games until the end that nicely complimented the lessons from the book!
I can't speak for anyone else. But I love the videos of just you commentating on your games. To me that will always have more value that some weird underpromotion puzzle.
Chess vibess!!! Havent watch a vid of u n a mong time.. Quite nice to see again.. a smooth voice or soemthing about it. Thumbs up
I love it when we can see games that didn't work out. I always learn more from failure than I do from success.
In chess, when I play a lot of games in a row. I usually blunder more in the other games than the first game I don't know why.
Our ability to concentrate is like a battery. You probably had mental fatigue
Man, I do the exact same thing. Even when I play pool my first game is My best game. It's all downhill from there. Can't seem to figure out why.
@@kurtisgonzales37 usually, you get either overconfident and start to take unnecessary risks, or you get tilted and stopped thinking altogether. Whether this happens after one game or a hundreds game depends on the person, but this is my best explanation as to why this thing happen.
@kzkaa. over confident is probably correct, then the mental fatigue sets in. Sounds reasonable and likely
I really like this kind of videos where you play and talk about the strategy that you're thinking. They are really educational.
@10:15 pawn on e4 is untouchable in ponziani and doesn't need extraprotction except existing tactics
I geniualy think that the disappointment in yourself after losing is 10x times stronger as the victory you get after winning . That's why i'm considering quitting irl events, I don't even know if i'm having fun
Ohh yes I am 2coaches1profille I am very happy beating Nelson Lopez today.Yeahhhhhhhh
I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I like to see how you explain, and handle blunders while losing. I don't
care to see you run through easy opponents.
I feel for you, Nelson
Do you do grandmasters' chess games analyst videos? Would be a great addition content type on your channel
Thank you for this relatable game.
Once i blundered my queen and resigned but it was M2 for me and got so frustated that i didnt play for at least a week
that was a turn table at game 2, Nelson had the advantage at the middle game until his opponent turn it around at the endgame! GG!
Glad you showed us you're human too. Seeing you move so quick in end games sometimes make me question my fundamentals but this really shows that we all miss obvious moves under time crunch, no matter what your rating is.
The way he was playing at the end you could have easily brought the horse and fork king and queen in the corner. 💁🏼♂️
love the video! after move 3 my brain usual turns to mush and i play bad moves lol, hoping that watching your vids help me out! Keep up the good work!!
29:00 yeah thats true always happens to me too
Glad to see I'm not the only one
Do Drawback chess part 2 live please
We learn more from our failures than from our victories 👍 Thanks for sharing!
Sir could you make a video how to checkmate the king using the two knights please???
Sometimes in Chess you find a way to lose, that was one of those times! 😅
Its really quite a great learning video though, and thank you for sharing a game where you make bad plays, probably a lot of people out there myself included aren't going to feel quite so bad when we too make obvious mistakes. 😊
I cant believe even high level players miss tactics.
They are humans too
two words: time pressure
You're the best Nelson
Nelson please help me. I fell from 2200 to 2070. It's real pain to get back there
You win a few, you lose a few. That's life.
Keep up the good work, sir.
P.S. I, as a super-ultra novice player, thought I saw a checkmate by you at the end with the king and queen. Looks like I was right; one of the few times I have been when it comes to chess! Lol
It seems like at a minimum the strategy at the end could've been checking the king until a draw (when their king was alone in the corner).
28:01 Yes. What a downer (second chance)
18:00 Ng5+ Kh8; f4 stops ... f4, right?
Im yelling "take the pawn" in Indonesia silently on the second game
Halo bang
I look forward to the second part of this project. Until you reach a rating of 2300. Live games especially in rapid, it's always interesting.
Dont know what it is about chess that gets me so much more tilted than other games. One time i blundered a a completely drawn position after 120 moves or so in time pressure. I checked after the game and i was 3 moves away from the 50 move rule. I was rated 1999 about to cross into 1200 for the first time. I had to choke back tears. I was devastated. I had to put the game down for a couple weeks after that.
28:25 Sorry if I annoyed you but you can play Qg5#.😅
I just lost 31 games of bullet in a row
It happens to all of us Teacher....good game..move on and learn😊
Hard luck mate. Better luck next time!!
When it falls apart, it really falls apart.
Nelson is funny at being mad on his lost.😁😅😎
I’m a novice but the other day I was playing a person 200+ points above me and was +10 in material and blundered for a checkmate. I haven’t played since 🤣
What does he mean when he says “all they were trying to do is flag you”?
Flag means to just continue playing (you can play random moves too, just don't blunder) till the time runs out for your opponent. Like here, Nelson was running low on time and even though the position was winning, he didn't have much time to think for the best moves. And even in the drawable position later, he lost because the time ran out.
Last game you should have taken out one of those knights. 2 knights coming at you is dangerous...
when do we see chess vibes vs helldivers 2
hello nice vid
That second game is me like alllllll the time. I get super annoyed with myself.
It's not unbelievable that he didn't see the fork, because neither did you 😱
Eric Rosen just had the same thing happen (fork to lose the queen) and neither he nor his 21** opponent saw it!
The other day I had a complete brain fart and put my queen in front of a pawn for it to take her. But my opponent missed it as well :D
That last game was frustrating to watch from your perspective, there were a few moves you could have played differently, only saying in hindsight.
T-shirts: I was there the day Nelson hung his queen and got away with it and had 2 forced mates and still lost.
Your opponent flagged + trolled you.😏
Well it happens. We are humans and we make mistakes even though they are easy to understand.
🎉🎉🎉
I only have lows.
26:43 actually crying about his opponent's play lol
4rth
Your impatience and playing too fast cost you the game and your overthinking too much
lol nice 2300 game should submit it for guess the elo
Sixth
