This BBQ is made for an open fire with adjustable hight grill.

gave me reason to build a new BBQ and improve the mechanism that Locks the grill in place at various heights over the open fire! Thank you and Enjoy!

Now the grease can all run off the front of the grill onto your feet...cool! The creative well is running dry.
scotty362100 I’ve actually had experience using this as you can see in the beginning of the video you can level it on the uneven ground there’s very many opportunities to level it anyway you want because you create the fire under it. I would expect somebody as smart as you to realize that so I guess I had to explain it 🤷🏻♂️

@@jimmydiresta Scotty wossname could have been politer but it's a fair point. I guess all it would take to have it level is just slope those back rails back a little bit. The height adjustment system is very clever though: super simple and easy to use.

Great idea on the new height adjustments. The visual effect when you were welding the inside corners with the metal changing color was a cool bonus.
The height adjusters got me in the feels! 👊
You and Brad need to do some more collabs. The chemistry was great with you playing it straight and letting him just spiral off on his goofy tangents.

1:21 Ok...BEST CZcams maker tip of 2019!!!! Cable clamp on the trigger of a fixed mount Porta-Band! I've been using a damn quick grip that falls off, gets lost, is never where I thought it was, etc for years! I Think I have some of those cable clamps in the garage! DIRESTA FTW!

Nice. I built a similar bbq recently and put a little cable winch on it for up and down.

P.S.: You should try some day getting a piece of metal with a little bit of rust, brush it with steel wool and then apply ferrox. Then brush again and apply more ferrox... It protects the metal a LOT!
