I think its easier for you to skid spin as you get slightly more speed then the tripple spin and the timing is bigger then the timing for the tripple spin, Skid Spinning 3 times in a row gives you a massive boost so if you have issues using the tripple spin then you can try the skid spin
@@Grozione That's why sometimes it's better to leave some time crates around nitro crates, because in the end you smash them all and that reduces the time in the end

Truck stopped is one of the easier dev times relics, because its all about optimal routing with Tawna and quick reactions at the end for getting at the finish line.
Well done mate. Step by step getting all of them. The only tip I can give is not to waste time on time crates around nitro crates. There's always a nitro detonator in the end and you can save valuable time by detonating nitros. Doing this actually deducts time if there are any time crates involved and you have finished the level with time frozen still on. Might save you a plat in the future. ;)
9:23 yes, if anyone perfer analogs, it's fine. but d_pad allows for so much more precision in movement ( aka less bullshit deaths ) that it's really hard for me to play a crash game with analog. beside, they put analog AND d_pad movement for a reason, so use it if you feel like it ( especially in 2D sections )
This is the hardest game for all the relics / trophies, but I think he’s improved a lot at these games ever since he started the series. Shouldn’t be too bad
The ghost will appear every time you play the second part of the alternate timeline level and Rush hour. On the other hand, if you are patient enough and learns some tricks and shortcuts in Hook, line, and sinker (no triple spinning there), then the dev time will be pretty easy.
Yeah that's exactly why I got this dev relic on this level. I took few hours on it, and once I pulled it off, I got it. This was simple means to prove my point that Im skilled enough in time trials that I know what im doing to get the dev relics as I know how to save up time and whatnot, but as long as it doesnt involve trash triple spin. Hence why I picked this level, along with Home Cookin' level.
@@deoxysandmew2162 Home cooking was my second dev relic as well, followed by Cortex castle (with that triple spin, no Akano boost), that level is very unoptimized and some damage boosts can save a lot of time. The fourth and probably final dev time I made was Give it a spin (with Akano boost).
@@Adroman100 Hilariously, give it a spin and cortex castle are two dev relics, i have obtained by accident. They simply must be the easiest to get haha.
When you get to the level nitro processing, theres a skip where you can keep the gravity mask through some hard parts of the level, I have a video of it on my channel called Easy way to get the platinum relic on nitro processing
I earned my platinum trophy april 17 2021 definitely the hardest silver trophy that i earned in my entire life but i am proud of it oh yeah earning a platinum relic in a jeetboard jetty was a living nightmare one of the worst levels definitely good luck you ll need it
crash compactor platinum time is 0 : 42 : 06 when you got to where the hidden gem area is for the hazardous waste level my 1st thought was "i wonder if toys for bob would be evil enough to put time crates on that path?" thankfully they were not, but making the time crates N Gin breaks not count as time freeze is evil.
Good run! I just automatically use the analog stick when playing Crash (except the original Crash, of course). It just feels better. Even these early levels look surprisingly difficult. My condolences to anyone's sanity who has actually 100% completed Crash 4. I really hope if Toys 4 Bob does a Spyro 4, they make it fun to 100% the game and not bloat the game with insipid content that makes it tiresome to complete 100% like in Crash 4.
Congrats on the good progress! As for why you get hit sometimes when sliding under obstacles, the slide spin does have a taller hitbox than the base slide itself so keep that in mind. On the other hand, the slide can be very useful to traverse pits as you slide in a straight line ignoring gravity until it ends, you can even clear smaller gaps with the slide alone! Additionally, slide spinning is actually faster than triple spinning when you don't need to jump, and doesn't require the same strict timing to pull off
You're doing very good actually. When I was doing my platinum relics run I noticed that the third spin of the triple spin make you go faster when doing it while jumping, I re-mapped my controls so the spin was on (RB) so I can jump while doing it.
for the d-pad thing, I personally have never got on with it for platforming games, especially not crash 4. I guess I could kinda see it for other crash games but crash 4 just has too many different things you gotta think about than the other games, and paired with the positioning and feel of the Xbox d-pad it’s just not it
I feel like if you played through the level you could literally (at least for the chase section) lay out where the crates are... i.e. 2 L, 1 1 1 R, 2 M, 3 M, 1 L .... etc. Would save you a lot of time and attempts as a good few hours of your life XD
Yeah I'm just gonna say have fun with all those levels that have some forn of vehicle in them like this one with the ball and later stages with Polar because if you miss a time crate that's it the thing hitting thr crate doesn't count for you unlike in the N-Sane-Trilogy which is very unfortunate. It makes those stages not only tedious to get through with how LONG they can get. Trust me that stage where you ride that slug thing like it's a polar section is the worst. It requires you to remember where the boxes are because if you miss them... that's it no time for you and it's highly likely that you WILL lose. And I just send my best wishes to you for the extra long stages that go on for FOREVER! Good luck Lewis you can do this. Oh and look out for all those dreaded alternate character stages. Those relics in particular are the more annoying ones. Really never liked them
I’ve been getting all the N. Sanely perfect relics for this game recently and I’ve got to warn you about shipping error and crash landed. Shipping error took me about an hour and crash landed took me 3 and a half hours to complete. I’d say it was harder than getting the platinum time for stormy acent.
if u are at the end already, please smash all the nitros and go to the goal anyways even if you feel it's not platinum time, and i promise even once you'll be happily suprised
Analog all the way. Also yeah I think they shouldn’t have changed the chase sequences where whatever is chasing you gets the boxes for you and it counts toward your time. I think that was an unnecessary change.
Now as I come to think of it, I think Hit the Road should be two separate levels. The chase section may be a short level but at the checkpoint, there could easily be a bonus route at the point before the chase continues on to add length to the level. Long levels for Relics was one of the major flaws in this game from the developers.
Bro for real you don’t have to triple spin all the time, check out AbdulTheArabicGuy or Bunalonne’s video. They got plat relics without those injury inducing shenanigans
@@deoxysandmew2162 The Triple Spin does give a little boost of speed but in some levels, that’s a problem because it’ll either make you accidentally hit a deadly crate, throw off your timing or maybe be another thing that robs you of a second jump.
