I love how kubo integrated something from the anime to manga canon, like sode no shirayuki's attire become rukia's bankai attire

the arc of the zanpaktou was interesting but there is a big problem, the zanpaktou are part of the soul if the shingami, is an extension of who they are so this arc doesnt makes much sense
And Muramasa is forcibly taking that spirit away from the user's soul hence the Zanpakuto spirits
@@RebelTheArtGal again, doesnt makes much sense, for example, a dumb comparisson but doesnt matter, in one interview somebody ask how ichigo could lift a sword so big with no effort and he answered that because is part of his soul he have no problem lifting it, but any other person whould feel the normal weight of a sword that big

There's a separate factor, Muramasa, who can just go around, separating that part of soul. The Zanpakuto spirits are still very much products of their user's soul and act in an "inner self" kinda way.
