I mean Zhongli could very much know the truth or at least know the truth of the war but he is not a dragon. He is an adepti who took the form of a dragon.

I mean, aren't the true forms of the adepti their animal/creature forms? So, a dragon could very well be his. He's just not one of the vishaps or sovereign. Just a Dragon. He isn't human, so the invaders didn't create the adepti from what we know when they defeated the sovereigns.

Zhongli talks about visions as a form of contract, it is not just tied to fate it is also something Celestia wants the vision wielder to accomplish. In Kazuhas case it was to block the musou hisotatchi. The point is that visions are a form of contract and that Zhongli probably stroke a bargain so that visions are no longer given out to people in the future

Some of what you said helped me put my own theories into context. In mythology, Alberich Nibelung is the name of the Dwarf King who stole gold from the Maidens (or daughters) of the river Rhine to make a magic golden torc (ring). It brought fortune, had the ability to make the wearer invisible, teleport them great distances, and even shapeshift them into a dragon. The connections between the mythology and Genshin are becoming more and more clear with each patch. Clearly Rhinedottir aka "Gold" is a reference to the maidens of the rhine river of gold, and now I surmise that Nibelung, the king of the dragon sovereigns in Genshin, is also the King of Khanreiah, whose royal family's last name was Alberich. Thanks to this and the connections we've seen between Dainsleif, Kaeya, and Pierro in the story quest that explained their Khanreiahn pupils, I first believed that Pierro is the Dragon king Nibelung Alberich, who left Teyvat to go to the River Rhine, which may be the abyss, or sea of stars in Genshin, to steal something from Rhinedottir to challenge Celestia. But thanks to your further connections with Irmin/Oden, the hanged man and the sinner, I think the sinner may be Rhinedottir, brought from outside of Tevat by Pierro (Nibelung Alberich, the Khanreiahn Dragon King) whose "remains" is the "gold" that fashioned the Gnosis when the dragons challeneged the Heavenly Principles. There's evidence of this in the voice line (I can't remember whose) that states something like, "the first and the second descender created the gnosis together using the thirds remains". This could mean that Phanes (or his shades) and Nibelung used Rhinedottir to make the gnosis to stabelize the destruction brought to Tevat by the arrival of Rhinedottir. We've been able to connect Dwarves in mythology with khanreiah, and now I believe we've been able to connect Khanreiah with dragons (dwarves are often connected with dragons and gold in mythology), so Khanreiah was a nation of dragons, dragonkin, humans and maybe even oceanids, who wished to challenge Celestia with power from the abyss. I don't think it's a coincidence that our next stop on our travel is a nation of dragons...
Was Rhinedottir from Khaenri'ah? In the Hexenzirkle trailer her teacup is shaped like a dragon. Is the decease called Eleazar in game dragon sickness?
More Dragon lore means more lore about how they came into contact with the abyss! So more abyss in general too, and more Norse mythology!!
Good theory! I like the idea of Khaenriahns being the descenders of Nibelung, however, i don't think Pierro is Nibelung since it is stated that he was a 'scribe, sage, etc' of the royal family of Khaenriah plus, he has sided with the Tsaritsa and him being the King dragon i don't think would follow an archon's ideal, plan etc since he thinks of them as usurpers. I do think he is the King of the Abyss though

Random but isn’t it weird that we haven’t heard a thing about the hypostases. They gotta be important having the hebrew alphabet as their names right? Part of me feels like their the remaining pieces of the 3rd descender to keep the archons in check? They act in nature similar to the archons, they use weird sigils to summon their powers, and their cubed shape which is kinda an obvious heavenly principle sign at this point. They’re also the purest forms of the elemental powers, I doubt they were just born in the natural world that way. But it would make a lot of sense if the 3rd descender had remaining power that could be divided between the statues of the 7 and the hypostases🙆🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
The hypostases' arenas are pretty much "conjuring circles" made of stone (akin to the purple energy ones found in Elynas) and have really complex structures under them that seem to use or mess with the leylines in order to control or facilitate the flow of elemental energy - as seem below the Thunder Manifestation in Inazuma. I love norse mythology and i actually think that what tsaritsa and fatui are planning to do is something like ragnarök, which literally means 'twilight of the gods' or 'doom of the gods', twilight being a reference to khaenriah and dain. it is the end if the regin of the gods. the term ragnarök was also popularised by Wagner in 'Dar Ring des Nibelungen', so that's that. Anyways, ragnarök is a battle between gods and giants that destroys the whole world by burning it (the burning of irminsul in sumeru trailer? and the quote about rosalyns resting place being the 'old world'?) and drowning it (like in fontaine?), also the stars will die and the sky will fall, so scaras theory about fake sky is possibly very real. tsaritsa might be loki, who was a god that wasn't on the side of the gods but neither giants until ragnarök. in the myth it is also said that everyone will die except for two people which are man and woman and they hid in the tree called yggdrasil, but the other name for it is actually irminsul. i believe that these two people might be our sibling, but who knows. in the time before the destruction world will also be frozen by the really harsh winter, so schneznaya? then after the doom world will be reborn, so again fatui want to create a new world and they need all the gnosis for it probably to destroy heavenly principles or celestia. so in summary fatui=giants celestia, heavenly principles and the 7 archons=gods, tsaritsa=loki. cataclysm in khaenriah and our journey might be a plan of the unknown god to stop the destruction of the world or to give the world a new beginning as they might be the ones that will hide in the branches of irminsul. we will probably find out in few years or so. also sorry if i said something wrong about the mythology be free to correct me

The tsaritsa using the gnosis to conjure abyssal powers which can be originated from Surtalogi which implies her plan to be the same with the abyss order doesn't seem to fit. According to the conversation between the fatui harbingers, some of them are assigned across teyvat to place an order upon the world and plan attempts to recover the gnoses. While the other members of the harbingers and some fatui are posted in the abyss to hold back and fight the abyss order. This means that the tsaritsa is not affiliated with the abyss order but has connection with Surtalogi to use abyssal powers for the fatui. I believe the tsaritsa's plan is to challenge celestia's current rule (old world) for the way they use fate to control the world. She will then replace Celestia to forge fate anf remove pain and suffering from the world (like a utopia). While the abyss order plans to destroy the celestia and return the world of teyvat in its original form, that of the abyss, that of nothing as the world can only start from nothing (a time before the dragon sovereigns).
The Harbingers go into the Abyss on expeditions, and to search for something but it never specifies that they are at odds with the Abyss Order itself. Not all the abyssal creatures are aligned with the Abyss Order. Look at Jakob, he is an abyssal creature that isn’t aligned with the Order, and he views them as a fringe extremist group.
I hate how nobody is connecting the fact that the Third Descender is dead, and that our Sibling isn't considered a Descender despite how we both arrived at the same time. We are the Fourth Who Came, and I recall that there have only really been 4. We can Resonate with the Seven's statues, the Gnoses were made from the corpse of the Third, and our elemental abilities are watered-down copies of the Sevens' abilities. That should only ever be possible on one condition: Our Sibling's corpse was used to make the Gnoses.
That would imply that the sibling of 500 yrs ago who tried to flee was already dead. Gnoses are 2000+k yrs old.

Neuvillette says that the primordial one created the gnosis together with the second who came, which implies that the third descender arrived shortly and died after the second descender, also our sibling not being considered a descender does not necessatly mean they're not our sibling, not everyone who hails from beyond the sky is considered a descender according to the recent notes from fontaine, so I highly doubt our sibling is the third descender.
well you didn't read/watch about the unfinished comedy quest story then. apparently just being a person from beyond the sky does not make you a descender.
a descender needs to fulfil 2 criteria
1) they must be from beyond the sky
and
2) they must have a will that rivals that of an entire world.
so there may be multiple people from beyond the sky but they may not all be considered descenders.
maybe Alice is a being from beyond the sky she surely is not a descender thats for sure.

Yeah the Caribet quest specifically addressed that the hilichurls were people from the seven nations who decided to abandon the gods and live in Khaenr’ah. The abyssal creatures are what full blooded Khaenri’ahians turn into over time.

well the impact in HI3 refers to a massive event in the modern time of the game maybe the impact in genshin is similar
The traveller being the 4th descender, with a will that will change Teyvat also fits Genshin's initial concepts. Before conceptualisation, Genshin was initially titled as the 4th title of the Honkai franchise, alongside HI3 and GGZ until CN fans suggested the current name. The Gnosis being made from the 3rd descender remains might be a nod to the 3rd Honkai eruption in HI3, one of the changes that determine the direction of the world.
Considering the travellers' actions, they might become Genshin's version of Finality upon regaining their full strength, with the will to change Teyvat's fate and system.

If that was the case then that would mean that nahida is Greater Lord Rukkedevatah. Also meaning that she never died, however he still calls the original archons him and barbatos
@@choco5629uhhh... Nahida has replaced Rukkhadevata in everyone's memory (even Paimon who might be of Celestial origin) and all texts. Only the traveler remembers her. The new timeline goes that Kusanali used her energy to seal the forbidden knowledge, and expended so much power that her form reverted to that of a child (which originally happened to Rukkhadevata).
I don't think anyone is the good guy in genshin. Fatui, celestia, and the abyss order are all bad in different ways. The abyss order seems the worst out of all of them though because we still don't really know their motivations
In case you don’t know, the Abyss Order were originally humans. More specifically, the Human citizens of Khaenriah that was destroyed by Celestia during the Cataclysm. The remaining survivors were then cursed by Celestia with immortality and were branded as sinners. Ever since, the surviving Khaenriahns had become extremely resentful towards the gods and the people who worship them. So they turned to the Abyss, forfeited their humanity and turned into monsters so that they can exact their vengeance against the heavenly principal. That is the basic information about the Abyss Order, you can find out more about them in other sources.
@billyperez8309 the abyss order is bringing to teyvatt exactly what celestia tried to get rid of, power from beyond this world and forbidden knowledge. Their actions are bringing upon the destruction of teyvatt and their motivations aren't a good enough justification for it. In an ironic twist of fate, celestia's actions against khaenria only made the issue with power from the abyss worse because the transformed khaenrians from the abyss order are just being more sneaky about it. It still doesn't make the abyss order good and i lack the most sympathy for them out of all of the game's villains
We actually do know the motivation of the Abyss Order. They are cursed Khaenri’ahians. They watched as the Heavenly Principles destroyed and cursed the people of Khaenri’ah the full blooded ones becoming abyssal creatures over 500 years, and the refugees from other nations were turned into hilichurls. The Abyss twin has stated that they want to overthrow the heavens and revive the homeland and release their people from the curse. The Abyss twin also states this is a war with destiny, which makes me think that whatever happened to the twin on their journey tied their destiny to Teyvat/Irmisil and destroying the world order is the only way to free themselves, and the people of Teyvat from the hold on them.
What if asmoday and paimon and lumine are all the same person as being the 3rd decender then this would go way to iut of control id say if this in some way if true then asmoday had every right to send lumine and aether back into teyvat as for lumine amd paimon they are the other two pieces of asmoday having been split into three which then means that they allowing past lumine to be used as the gnosies due to still containing said powers and the sustainer is her spirit that was taken out and paimon is the floating body that eats alot lumine can cook and asmoday well she can blow stuff up like big time lol paimon if used her powers corectly could break a mountain in two just like the second claymor weapon we get in green and it makes only a little bit of sense as to way paimon isnt leaving aethers side plus this would mean lumine is well and truly spreded out and she sees that teyvat cant stay the way it is so shes using the powers of the abyss to fix it and aether aswell to witch she is the keeper thats fading and dain wants awther to save her but he cant if hes blinded by justice as the scroll in fontaine mentioned those who wield the sword of justice musnt be blinded for they are told to trust their memories as well as not to trust your eyes like ninguang says durint the morning when it stops raining ***if*** any of what im adding in here is remotely true then the tsuritsa is trying to kill lumine or in this case laminated days of heaven and she has to let aether see for himself to stop the tsuritsa from killing lumine fully that also meaning the shade of the praimordial one days of light in heavens principles laminated to all of teyvat seek not for the truth remains hidden past lumine is still trying to get her brother to wake up to the truth of teyvat so that he can help her and a piece of lumine is paimon observing him as well as the constant repeate of this mess and shes said to have come to teyvat this means that back when she and her brother came they werent like this and asmoday was the piece of lumine that was split to make the gonises and sense then shes been corrupted due to the dragon neboliung and the only one to stop it is aether the sword of light he has to pierce her amd draw out the corruption and fight a fake manefestaion od lumines powers all in one but the powers of corruption will try to swallow the real lumine in attampt to kill her for good and bring full ruin even the tsurista wont beanle to stop her then so this could be why the cryo arcon is after this and in her own way is trying to stop her but it most likely will back fire even with the narwal and more over she says that if you can bare my cold then you must also want to see the old world burn that im sorry you have to burdern my problems but know that the world shall burn no more these lines are starting to add up its not what it seems and if everythig is fake then lumine must be as asmoday trying to keep the last pieces of teyvat from dissaperaing and since shes corrupted possibly then she wants the help of her past self to get awther down here amd save them and everyone else

Pretty much Neuvillette is the archon now. He got his full dragon sovereign authority back from Focalors, which means he’s as powerful if not more powerful than the archons. The gnosis and seven thrones are the stolen authority of the dragon sovereign.
There is no Hydro Archon. All sovereignty over Hydro and Fontaine has been returned to Neuvillette. It's like if Nahida severed her divinity and returned the authority to Apep.
Honestly I think that Hoyoverse is just making up the lore as they go. But it's fun to theorise anyway.

Well it's a live service game and not an adaptation so yeah of course..but they definitely have fixed core events planned out already. That's why we get so many foreshadowing.. genshin lore is definitely more planned than most others gacha. games
This game was planned years ahead and they most definite know the end. It is possible that they are making changes in order to prolong the story since they said they now expect the life expectancy to be 12 years.
