  • I've been having issues with wifi dead spots in my kitchen extension.
    This videos will show you how to set up TP-Link RE300 range extender via Tether app on your phone.
    I'll also be conducting a before and after speed test to see what difference it makes.

    Did I see it right that the extension network was called something different than the router network? It has EXT added to the WiFi name I think. If that is so, then the RE300 with a random router doesn't give 1 WiFi mesh network, but 1 normal WiFi point and 1 mesh (two SSIDs).

    I have a Re300 extender . All my lights on the extender are orange. Is this correct?.

    I want to use TP-link range extender RE200 to form mesh wifi network by connecting it to Tplink Archer A6 router. Will it produce same strength of wifi signals in mesh network as that of secondary router? Router is in first floor, RE200 will be in 2nd floor.

    Hello my brother, I paid a TP-LINK CPE710, after configuring the access point, my 2GHz phones do not detect my CPE710 5GHz AC867. Is there a possibility to convert 5GHz to 2GHz or a configuration for all phones and devices to connect?

    Have you tried using the Ethernet cable on it yet and if so, is it any good?

      I haven't yet sorry. I'd imagine it to be pretty decent.

      @@UTILITARIANTVUK Decent like good decent or decent like bad decent? It's probably the main reason I'm getting it and I just want to be sure

    Does your phone automatically switch to the WiFi Extender Network when it’s needed or are you manually switching it when you need it. My issue is walking around the home and losing connection I assumed this would automatically pick up the the extender network when needed is there a way to do this?

    • @UTILITARIANTVUK
      @UTILITARIANTVUK  Před 3 lety

      The WiFi extender just extends your current network so you will be on the same network and won't have to switch.

      @@UTILITARIANTVUK I have it setup right now I show my WiFi network and my WiFi network_Ext how can I set it up to so it will automatically switch? Change the name? I’m sure there’s a real correct way of doing it.

      @@Jprunyacity Same thoughts here. Automatic switching isn't working "0 Clients" unless manually connected.

      Thanks, it took quite a lot of work to make the audio quality that poor. 👍
