Yes, as a Thai, I sometimes see Vietnamese riding their brooms to and from the countries. It's a bit weird because Thailand prefers carpets, a thing we culturally got from India

As an Indian I can confirm that we do use carpets, I love using them but I can’t use them cause I live in Australia and it’s frowned upon here 😔
As a Thai living in Australia this is obviously a joke and should not be taken seriously if you actually think this is true. And I don't know why you bring out carpets. Most us Thais don't use carpets at home.

Seeing that guy do a fainting spell made me think about how my teen kids, talked me into riding a roller coaster ride at ‘Six Flags’. They said that it wasn’t a scary one. Up we go - - - then a steep downward motion. During the downward ride, I passed out and scared the heck out of my daughter. She held on to me tightly. I found out that I have an inner ear disorder, that any motion that abrupt - - will result in the same way!
That's interesting & a bit scary.

Fun fact: car windshields are stronger from the outside than from the inside, this is due to the curvature of the glass which distributes force more evenly when coming from the outside while when it come from inside is actually more focused into the impact point.

If it was real, kudos to him for being brave enough to go on a ride that clearly terrified him. Takes guts to face your fears like that (even if he ended up missing it because he passed out)...
I do something similar, but not fully faint. I close my eyes before it starts and then I am suddenly limp for most of the ride, and it feels more like a car ride and you can't feel how high you're falling usually. I can hear everything, but I don't scream and I just sway with the coaster. I hate rollercoasters and the sensation of falling >

But for the toads that arent poisonous/toxic they have the same confidence but not the same protection
