Artist like J.Cole make music in this form for the whole purpose of us enjoying it as something to vibe to AND to listen and take a great message from. That’s why they decided to put it in this form of art. If they wanted us to only take it serious they would just give a speech in front of thousands, but they put it in music so we could enjoy it as such.
Yeah also most people wouldn’t listen to a speech it’s easier to digest it in music form.
You should look into more of J Cole’s songs because his first rap alias was actually “therapist”
