Thanks for sharing what the beach is really like in KW. Until I started watching videos, I thought it was like normal beaches, far from it, but nice in a special way. Loved that you actually shared what being in the water is like ❤
My wife was stationed in Key West in the Navy. I ask her if you have been to this beach or that area. She always said of course I've been there. Then goes on to reminise about her glory days in Key West. Yep, I shouldn't have ask. You both did such a great job!

I have only spent the day on Key West. We stayed in Key Largo and rode our motorcycles down to Key West for the day. We needed to know where to go there. I felt a little lost.

You all are so cute! The beaches around Key West are a lot of fun! I love wearing water shoes, because of those coral reefs and rocks. One of my favorite beaches is the Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. The beaches are rocky but the water is so fun plus the picnic tables are under a bunch of trees. And yes, the Sand Cloud towels are the best! You never take home any sand unlike a terry cloth type of towel.

I have been to Key West a few times and it is just an old run down place. It actually feels like you are going back in time. If you are a diver or like to fish it is great I guess but there a lot of nicer more modern and better maintained places to visit in Florida.
Key West has a rich history that dates back to the early 1800s. The city's well-preserved historical sites, such as Ernest Hemingway's Home and Museum, the Truman Little White House, and the Key West Lighthouse, have some unique stories to be told. The architecture with its distinctive conch-style houses and colorful buildings, adds to the city's charm and appeal. Just my opinion...🌞

Is it just me but the water doesn't look as clear as it is in Destin or St Pete's up North?
Most of it depends on how the weather has been, storming, windy, or sunny and calm.

Beaches yes....water....I'm going to have to disagree on that one. But for beaches...the Keys are not the place to visit for sure!
