    Both make for damn fine escape pods. Put the hurricane in the rear view mirror.

    The Noovo Plus Class B has a nice floor plan. The Vancasky’s channel just posted about it with the tour of it inside.
    We have the Coachmen Beyond Li3 Floorpan D. The lithium is the way to go. Beyond has more leg room for the driver. Overall well made. Coachmen changed a few things in the 2024-square/rectangle sink..a few other changes.

    I totally agree with you on the driving position between the two. I went to the coachmen dealership for 2024 NOVA 20D. However, after got on the both front driver seat I was sold to beyond. ^^

    Loved it! I didn't know you liked to travel. This van is perfect. It has everything you seem to need. Even little skipper seems to like it. Real nice inside and clean. Maybe Laurie might want to try a drive it. Glad to see you are both are doing well in Florida, you both deserve it. Thanks for explaining everything, I'm sure you answered questions for those who might want to buy one. Take care and have a good time traveling.

    The comparison wasn't so much physical aspects of the build but the personal preferences which is the bottom line. I thank you for sharing your opinions. Not everyone can experience going thru the many different kinds of RV's as you did, so IMO renting different kinds makes sense until you find one that 'feels just right'.

    Good call on Ford. PromAster transmission will go out around 30k miles. Check your cabin air filter in the glove box to be sure there is one. They typically do not install it from the factory .

    This looks awesome. Video Idea for you all: Best boondock places in the keys. I'm in Jupiter and cant wait to get a stealth class B and hit all the keys.

    Fascinating. You covered everything I wanted to know. It was like I was there as you anticipated and answered everything that I wanted to ask about. Off topic, but Laurie always has the best white jeans. It's really hard to find a good pair for hot climates that are not transparent, don't fit too tight/loose or have "invisible" pockets. Laurie needs to do a tropical fashion video lol as I love her clothes. You both are so sweet together and respectful in how you share your thoughts in your videos.

    Catamaran is what we choose so we can get off the roads and tour the Bahamas since they are close. Love your camper. Enjoy and maybe we can get together in September. Looking for land to build a house.

    Pick the Beyond. You're correct not comparing apples to apples, your comparing apples to lemons. Looking at the overhead cabinets in the Jayco says it all. Door misalignment is what stands out. It's what we don't see that concerns me.

    Congratulations on the ban guys. 🙂 I definitely agree with you. The best RV is the one you will actually use. We live in Sarasota and have a Class A diesel pusher. We have two sets of everything so the only thing we have to do is transfer the contents of the refrigerator to the RV and grab the cat and we are ready to go. We have a Lincoln MKX that we flat tow behind us so we can explore when we get places. You definitely hit it right on the nail head. Our motorhome is our hurricane escape vehicle. We are also blessed to be able to store ours at home. That makes loading so easy.

    • @GablesOnTheGo
      @GablesOnTheGo  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Yep, we've found after many different types of RV's that at this stage in our life the van is the perfect fit because we can just grab it and go without making any huge plans. Thanks for watching!

      @adriannurse1502 Před 4 měsíci

      @@GablesOnTheGo I am glad to hear that you two leave for hurricanes. They are nothing to play with or take lightly. Plus the van is much easier to store and park in the Key's.

    We have a 21 coachmen galleria 24T with the Li3 package. I removed the radio and installed a Roku soundbar. I like the coachmen quality over the jayco/thor. I like the Li3 package with the dog because I can run the AC for 6 to 8 hours without running a generator. So if we stop for a meal or sightsee I don’t have to worry the dog for a couple hours.

    • @GablesOnTheGo
      @GablesOnTheGo  Před 5 měsíci +2

      That is the very reason I would actually prefer the Li3 package myself...for the dog. We are going to look into upgrading our unit to lithium and see what all is involved. Of course the generator on these new units is so quiet, you can stand right next to the exhaust pipe and comfortably have a conversation.....BUT....it would make me nervous to leave Skipper in the van alone while the generator is running in case of carbon monoxide getting into the van.

  • @waymonhutto2274

    Y'all did a great job on the van tours. I would be concerned about the rear clearance under the Dodge. With the dual rear wheels on the Ford you can pull a boat and not worry about the van swaying. I assume the HVAC are both mounted on the roofs of the vans. I would the Ford too. Safe travels. 😊

      We have towed our 21 ft to the The keys plenty in our Jayco swift LI there’s always a fellow boater who will help back up the boat at the marina

    We own the Jayco swift LI and love it, had it a few years…we’ve had 9 coaches in 35 yrs lol class B’s are great, for better side sleep cot size trifold mattresses 6 inch memory foam Wayfair has them best sleep ever, don’t be afraid to off road we do in ours, curious though why you opted for a generator? Ours has no generator nor propane

    • @GablesOnTheGo
      @GablesOnTheGo  Před 5 měsíci +1

      We've had so many different RV's in the past, and one thing we really enjoy is boondocking where there are no services or hookups. I have found that a generator running off the main tank is just so convenient and in some cases the only truly reliable source of power under many different conditions. Traveling in the Smoky Mountains as we used to do a good bit. It is rare that you will find a place to camp/stay that is not heavily shaded, rendering solar about useless. The ultimate set up would be to have both! Thanks for watching!

    Hi Gables On The Go. Have you had a samll class c? Thanks for the side by side review.

    • @GablesOnTheGo
      @GablesOnTheGo  Před 5 měsíci +1

      We had a Thor Vegas, which is classified as a Class A, but really it's just a Class C van chassis with a front cap and big windshield which makes it look like a tiny Class A. But we have not owned a true Class C.

    Get a van and have it custom built and save 50k...end of story

    • @GablesOnTheGo
      @GablesOnTheGo  Před 5 měsíci +2

      We actually looked into that very thing. We found that although it is certainly possible, to get one rigged the way we wanted it, it was about the same cost and actually higher with some builders...and certainly a VERY long timeframe. However, I agree with you, it could be a really good path for some folks. Great suggestion!

    All those way overpriced vans are way too small, even for one person.
