- Happy New Year! Starting off the videos this year with a trip out of Naples from last September that I'm finally putting together. Been wanting to get this one done for a while now, but was worried I wouldn't do it justice. I'm hoping the narration style works out for it.
It was an excellent day diving and spearing with friends in what was supposed to be terrible conditions. Visibility wasn't the greatest but we were all stoked with how the day turned out. Hoping to get out there again soon.

Thanks brother. I'm ridiculously uncomfortable being in front of a camera and hearing my own voice, so Im glad it worked out into something worthwhile.

Hello, thanks for watching. There is always the risk, but I have never gotten sick. I try to catch only the smaller ones, but sometimes I like to get a larger fish.
@@tritonteamsix gracias por responder, en Canarias-España ya desde hace unos años hay peces que están dando positivos en Ciguatera, hay una serie de pesos a partir de los cuales es obligatorio hacer analisis de ciguatera para comercializar el pescado, saludos

Es lo mismo aquí. Sin embargo, creo que hay menos riesgo.
No tenemos sistemas de arrecifes muy grandes.
Pero aún debemos tener cuidado
It is the same here. I think there is less risk though. We do not have very large reef systems. But we still need to be careful.
I usually fish in Fort Lauderdale. How far off shore do you fish on the west coast generally?
Are you eating those barracuda??
Yes. Some of my videos I posted are catch and cooks on the barracuda. My last C&C video is like less than 2 minutes on one. I do eat them but I don't shoot them very often.
@@tritonteamsix cool I've eaten them before in the Bahamas. Personally I liked it. I decided to get into spearfishing this week 😁 bought some gear. Never done it before at all. Can I get a few tips for a greenie?? Maybe a cool shallow area near Tampa ish that might hold some fish.....?

Yea. Not illegal in Florida, or a lot of other places.
@@tritonteamsix you might want to check your laws dude I was a charter boat captain in Naples for over 17 years to shoot permit with a speargun is totally illegal look it up
