Most unbelievable thing about this film is how energetic the British crowds are.
70 people are speechless
To be honest this is actually so accurate lol. Every British show I watch when there's a crowd they cheer and clap at anything everything 😅😅

I'm not sure, but I think the rain trick was the easiest trick among them. Altering the timing of strobe lights will make falling droplets appear to move like that. We did it in high school chemistry class. It's really cool to see.
Yeah, it's basic science but it's still pretty cool whenever you see it.
A lot of magic or illusions are easy when you know how to do them. It's all about the showmanship and making a performance out of it :D
Really? I was thinking frequencies, don’t know exactly how, but yknow, always just a though
Yeah, but the audience lowered their umbrellas, wouldn't they still fell the rain?
Yeah, but the audience lowered their umbrellas, wouldn't they still feel the rain?
Plot twist:
The water was a paid actor
Oh my god ur so stupid
It was can’t u tell
Actually there is a logical explanation for this. You see there's a theory when water is exposed to mass base from a type of speaker. The water will freeze in place, but it's actually still falling down! The speakers provide an electronic base that causes the water to look like it's frozen in place!

The fact that the water trick can actually be done is incredible
Not on such a large scale but The future has a big chance of making it a realty
@@chinnudanturi9730 But you couldn't do it like in the movie. Like people not hearing or feeling the droplets.
I don't think it'd look very good either. You'd have to have the rain droplets falling in exactly the same positions, uniform, across a large area to create the illusion of them remaining still with strobe lighting.
Cool idea, and like a lot of movie magic not practical or plausible.
@@DisemboweII they use fake rain machine in the movie to get the effect right
@@monnke Yup, that's about the only way you can do it. By creating an artificial timing and spacing of the droplets with a machine and matching that to a strobe light you could create the visual effect of stationary droplets in a way you can't with natural rain

That went from zero to a hundred real quick
The water freezing thing is not possible, even with the strobe lights. No matter what frequency you set it to, water is still falling it just looks like it’s not. So when the people take their umbrella off to marvel at the droplets they would have water falling in their face, ruining the illusion

This is possible by using lights blink in a certain frequency so that our eyes believes it's stopping or going up but in reality the rain is dropping like normal. Same principle when you see a tire spin really fast it is as if the tire spins in the opposite direction
The rain works by using a strobe light. The light flashes at the same frequency that the rain drops fall, making it look still

The rain trick worked if it made you believe he used light strobbing. If you watch it close he actually stopped the rain since it doesnt hit anything anymore and rain is pretty random. So he used the light strobbing to trick you into thinking thats how he controls the rain.
