Furi speedrunning tutorial

This video was done in one take and entirely unscripted so it's a bit messy, but I just wanted something that covers the main route without all the scary complicated stuff that usually only saves a few seconds. I did skip over the really basic stuff which mostly just comes down to knowing the correct timing for parrying or dashing. If this helps even just one person get into speedrunning Furi, I'll take it as a net positive.
I also can't believe I forgot to mention it in the video, but I also highly recommend jimmyjam100's (as of yet incomplete) series of Furi tutorial videos that go into more depth with instructions and different RNG possibilities. Wanna say thank you for this guide! I suck at this game but find myself playing it anyway, and this breakdown (and watching your older speedruns as well, like the one you performed at GDQ) helped me get a PB of 75 minutes on Furi difficulty! (If I hadn't fumbled the Star, it would've been 60 minutes, ez)
This video definitely deserves more views, it's invaluable for aspiring speedrunners of this game.

Have you heard of Hyper Light Drifter, the game is so oddly related to Furi, their like distant relatives

The cutscene attacks in this game really should’ve been buffed, a perfect parry shouldn’t be a bad thing.
Also if you happen to read this would you say the pro controller is the best gamepad for this due to the lack of triggers?
