I'm so lost I know I love to help people but also feel like I've outgrown my job. I've worked taking care of the elderly for 11 years. There are not many job opportunities in the retirement town I live in unless I go to school. I create more problems in my mind then distract myself because of unhealed trauma. I lost one of my brothers in July and it's like I can hear him still telling me to go where he worked at last but im so good at talking myself out of it. I dont have a good support system where I live but Im so sick of myself and wasting time... im on day 9 of being positive for the coronavirus...Time is going to go by no matter what but now typing this it sent a whisper to my soul. 😊 (take that first step)
i like listening to your sermon day by day. i m 70 years old, female living with my half destined by Almighty since 1979. we have no kids living in hong kong china. i accepted i 1987, he 2000. Since the beginning of my marriage, i had addiction of shoplifting. i have been in court 5 times. my Almighty has not let me in prison. i m now still fighting this very seriously because if i get caught, i really have to put in jail said the judge. now i m praying and listen to your sermon and dr Charles Stanley daily. If it is not to seek God through the living prophet of your time, it is useless to change religions or holy books because all religions and faith in those holy books lead to the same hell. Do not say: "I was in Orthodox Judaism but now I am in the Masorti Judaism or with the Reformed Judaism" or do not say: "I was a Sunni Muslim but now I am a Shia or Salafist". One can never get close to God through a fast, a consecration or some Sufism but through a living prophet. And until your death, do not forget that God is not in a pious religion or in a holy book but with his prophets while these prophets are alive on the earth. And no prophet ever founded a religion. God is not in a religion and I do not believe that a pious member of Islam, Judaism or Christianity can go to heaven without believing in the living prophet of his time. And a son of God cannot die in a religion. God does not recognize the efforts that you make in all those religions. If i wouldn't have felt God pulling me to Him last year I know I wouldn't be here now. Lean on Him even more in times of need. That's where i fall short sometimes, I try to depend on others or go it alone. But the times that I've made it through things that by no means i should have, is becauseI really put my Faith in Him. Hopefully this helped, never forget that we all have a purpose. Good had put each of us exactly where we need to be at the exact time we need to be there.
