I bank with Industrial Bank. The call center’s customer service is professional and polite. ❤
One United Bank is very popular because it's the only black bank that's FDIC insured and serves black people in all 50 States. They offer free online financial workshops, and give you points each time you use your debit card. The debit cards are beautifully unique because they are african inspired, something you can't get at any other bank. They offer tons of benefits too.

Industrial Bank is located in Washington DC, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York City
I banked ( past tense) with Liberty Bank and Trust until today 3/9/2023. Their $1 Billion in assets is partially derived by nickel and dimming their customers with FEES, FEES and more FEES!!! I’m grateful for this list because I know for a fact that there’s better banks for brown skin people to circulate our money and wealth through.
I would not recommend Liberty Bank and Trust due to my personal experience but I’m willing to try other financial institutions owned by us.

We need to have all our money in these banks and credit unions. All of us along with our entertainers and athletes we can turn our communities around over night.

I knew of One United Bank because of Joe Madison aka The Black Eagle! And MECU because of My Good Friend in Baltimore.

What an Awesome video. I had NO idea there are so many BOB's in the U.S. I'm surprised Carver Federal Savings Bank isn't on the list. I remember my Grandmother banking their since their opening in 1948 until she died in 2003. They have a beautiful bank in Brooklyn, N.Y. and several throughout the five Boroughs. Nana never thought about banking anywhere else. No one was allowing Blacks to Bank in their banking institutions at that time so she couldn't imagine banking anywhere else. GREAT VIDEO! 💞

All banks, and any bank that doesn’t have a concrete and knowledgeable board. Call and ask what is your institution’s “Financial Solvency score”. If they can’t tell you or give you a low number. Keep it stepping in my opinion.
Ask if they are FDIC. Credit Unions usually insure accounts upto $250,000.

I love Liberty Bank. It was super easy to open my account online. I pay $10/mo in fees, which is less than the bigger white-owned banks.
