    𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
In this getting started tutorial, we will learn about the Ultra Wideband Technology using ESP32 DW1000 UWB Board. The UWB technology is a wireless carrier communication technology that uses a frequency bandwidth above 1 GHz. It does not use a sinusoidal carrier but uses nanosecond-level non-sinusoidal narrow pulses to transmit data.
The BU01 is developed by Ai-Thinker based on DecaWave’s DW1000 chip, which integrates an antenna, all RF circuits, power management, and clock modules. ESP32 UWB module based on DW1000 and ESP32 is like a continuously scanning radar that can precisely lock onto another device, discover its location, and communicate with it.
In this tutorial, we will go through the board design, specifications, and applications. Then we will learn how to use the ESP32 DW1000 embedded board for object detection and ranging. During range detection, there might be antenna delay issues leading to measuring incorrect distance. Therefore we will learn the method to fix the distance issue with the Antenna delay calibrating method.

Hello. I am trying to communicate two ultra wideband bu01 dw1000 chip using esp32 d1 mini without any breakout board. What i did was to etch a pcb board and only solder the necessary pins to communicate 2 uwb with each other. The pins soldered was the SPI pins (CLK, MOSI, MISO), CS pin ,IRQ pin, RSTn, VSS, and VDD3v3. But it just doesn't work. Any ideas why?

Hi, Could explain how to manage the configuration setting and antenna delay for DW3000? I'm confused to trying and error and don't get the high accuracy for DW3000. If you have any reference how to get it, please inform me. Thank you!

after calibrating antenna delay, you are using the sketches of the new library you downloaded but can we use the previous sketches which we used when there antenna delay problem ?

Hi, thank you for sharing! I want to ask, is the code of calibration also can be used for DW3000's calibrating?
I have searched many website on the internet. But til now i dont get it how to calibrate the DW3000.

    Hello,
Great explanation. Thanks for the awesome job you have done.
i got ESP32 DW3000 board. tried with DW3000 libraries available in git hub but got some compilation errors. tried to fix those errors but not able to get proper distance, antenna delay, clock offset. Can you please help. provide some proper DW3000 libraries and example code.
