The use of the Givi straps is genius!!
You may already be aware, but Rally Raid make a very nice saddlebag support that would solve many of your concerns with the pannier mounting, stability and protection from the exhaust. They are quite small and unobtrusive. “The Camping Biker” CZcamsr has them on his CB500X. I have a couple Enduristan Toronado dry bags and like them very much.
Yep, was considering Rally Raid, but problem for me was, I wanted to have a pillion seat 'in use' and with Rally Raid there's no place for pillion to grab and hold on to while riding. But will check out the channel you mentioned, I like Enduristan bags and would like to keep using them, just with few small adjustments. Thanks 👍

Hey, interested in the givi windscreen feedback too. I can't stand those wind buffering in my helmet, but I don't know which solution to go for.
Do the givi windscreen hit handguards ? that's my main interrogation...

could you criss cross the mounting straps?
Yes, there's a buckle that connects left and right strap. I haven't tried myself to connect them that way, but good point I'll try 👍👍👋
