if you just want to disable the Motor Cut Off while braking but want to keep your brake light it is enough to pin out the Green/Yellow cable from one of the Controller Connectors. This is also the solution if you installed an aftermarked brakelight and your Motor doesent spin aslong as your aftermarket Brakelight is connected.

👍🏻I like your idea and I want to try it but where are the Controller Connectors located? You have to follow the same steps as shown in the video by removing the key switch plate or you can find them under the controller after removing it?

I only removed all cables as they can snag on single trails if you land in a Bush or likewise. Otherwise I would just disconnect the 1 end.
I'm really enjoying mine it's a great bit of kit perfect for the terrain around here and its stealth presence let's me go places I can't with loud engine.
Thanks for the comment and glad it might help someone

Pre ride checks are so important I always do them I’ve been out so many times with other riders that haven’t done pre checks cos it’s boring or they just don’t bother and then end up needing tools in the middle of nowhere cos their chain keeps coming off lol or having to walk 5 miles over rough ground cos the handle bars are loose then it’s day over so taking 10 mins just going over a few bits is definitely worth it great vid mate how’s the 190 is it still holding up

there is some kind of shut off that kills all the power if the bike is dropped or just leaned over too far. Usually leaves you on the ground, have to turn the key off and back on. Any one know how to disable this?

Instead of doing all this, you could simply pull the brake 9 times.
    Quote Luna:
Note the factory bike comes programmed at level 3 which is max regen
Level one regen braking = 2 short 1 long 2 blinks.
Level two regen braking = 3 short 1 long 3 blinks
Level three regen braking = 4 short 1 long 4 blinks
NO Regen = 7 short one long 7 blinks
Turn ebrake sensor off - 8 short one long 8 blinks
Turn ebrake sensor back on - 9 short and one long. 9 blinks
Note this can be done with either ebrake or the kick stand for the pulls.

Question. This might sound stupid but when you remove your e brake sensor does this also stop your regen braking?

    • @motomachinezuk8786
      @motomachinezuk8786  Před 5 lety +3

Not as far as I'm aware. I think the regen is from engine braking when you roll of throttle. These sensors only cut engine power. I don't know this kinda stuff it's just what I assume. I never even thought about that. So don't quote me. I wish I could answer more positively sorry
