Man I inherited my great grandfather’s and my grandfather’s tools, and was just using the octo grip cutters yesterday, I wondered why they had the ring design, it’s nice to finally know!
Wow, 2 days after watching this video, I was going through all the tools in my parents garage and found a pair of those octo grip snap-on pliers in chrome from what must’ve been left over from my grandpa. Had to come back to comment. My first snap-on tool lol.

I went with the dewalt 20v rachet and it's far better than snap on. The have a 1/4 3/8 20v rachet now and it's really nice. Just a tip.

That is the best version of the shittiest tool I’ve ever seen. Slip joint pliers are the tool everyone who doesn’t own tools has. I don’t mean to knock him. He’s a mechanic so there’s probably a good use but I’m on construction and everything you might use these for has a better tool for the job
