Drawing from Lecoq's theory, participants will embark on a dynamic exploration of seven distinct levels of tension, ranging from the subtle to the explosive. Through experiential exercises and scene work, you'll learn to master the delicate balance between anticipation, conflict, and resolution, breathing life into your characters with depth and authenticity. Whether you're an experienced improviser seeking to expand your toolkit or a newcomer eager to explore the intricacies of tension in performance, this seminar offers a rich opportunity to elevate your craft and captivate audiences with compelling narratives.
👧 Chara Kanta
There is one thing you need to know about Chara. She doesn't like to talk about herself and the things she has done. She prefers to show them in action. But if you insist... Chara is an actress and improviser, she dabbles in directing and editing, dancing, painting and SFX make-up (yes, it's what you imagine it to be. Sometimes even her mother can’t recognize her with SFX make-up on). From 2008 until today, she has been actively involved in theatre, participating in numerous workshops and performances of classical and contemporary theatre. Her great love is experiential theatre and psychodrama. Her educational and performance experience includes the Municipal Theater of Rhodes, the National Theater of Rhodes, the drama school of the Emmanuel and Mary Stamatiou Scholarship Foundation of Rhodes, the theatre workshops of the higher drama school NOTOS and the school of improvisational theatre Heraklion Improv Theater, where she is today. Her first contact with improvisational theatre was in September 2020 and since then she hasn’t been able to separate it from her everyday life.
