At the age of 14, don Miguel Jr. apprenticed to his father don Miguel Sr. and his grandmother, Madre Sarita. From that early age, he was called upon to translate Madre Sarita’s prayers, lectures and workshops from Spanish into English. In this way, through constant repetition and review, he learned the content of her teachings in both languages. Through interpreting for Madre Sarita, don Miguel Jr. came to understand the power of faith.
He saw first-hand how she manifested her intent to heal people, both physically and spiritually. don Miguel Jr.’s apprenticeship lasted 10 years. When he reached his mid-20’s, his father intensified his training. At the apex of this power journey don Miguel said to his eldest son, “Find your way out. Go home and master Death by becoming alive.”
For the past 13 years, don Miguel Jr. has applied the lessons learned from his father and grandmother to define and enjoy his own personal freedom while achieving peace with all of creation. Today, he is married and has two young children.
As a Nagual, he continues to pass along the wisdom and the tools of his family’s traditions in helping others to achieve their own personal freedom and optimal physical and spiritual health in his lectures and workshops.
Miguel Jr. has taken the lessons of his father and grandmother, and discovered his own personal path to freedom. Being able to apply his teachings to the world around him gave Miguel Jr. a new understanding of the lessons his father and grandmother had passed onto him, once again giving him the desire to pass on this awareness through his books.
He is the author of the books: “The Five Levels of Attachment”, “Living a Life of Awareness”, “The Mastery of Self”, and “The Don Miguel Ruiz’s Little Book of Wisdom”. He also co-authored the book, “The Seven Secrets to Healthy, Happy Relationships” with his dear friend, HeatherAsh Amara. He now helps others discover optimal physical and spiritual health through his books, so that they may achieve their own personal freedom.

And you know you have forgiven someone when they no longer live rent free inside your head.
This is what real spirituality looks like. In the thick of difficulty but raising the spirit to the challenge with fortitude and humility. One of the the realest speakers.
OMG, I am coming up on 5 years clean on August 2 and my family still treats me like a junkie. I am from a Hindu family, who believes in the caste system. it's the 1st step We are powerless over everyone, so we practice surrender. Thank you, Alex, for all the fantastic tools you gift me with, which I can apply in my recovery process. I am so grateful for the 12 steps. The judgement is due to our system. If it were legal, like alcohol, the attitudes would change.
It's man made Laws, not the Big 10, but folks just judge out of fears and their own regrets.
Your Power is in Your Thoughts. What others think (let it go, we only control our mind)
To worry about what they think *"is to give your Power away".*

Be loyal to your You.
... and don't apply labels to yourself, it is You in the Now.
Overcoming is an Achievement, a Success, Your Success. Period.

The Four Agreements is phenomenal. I got the book as a Christmas gift and it sat on my bookshelf for years, I guess I wasn’t ready for the knowledge, until I read it not long ago and loved the teachings.

I love this channel but the titles of the videos always feel clickbait-y.
Working with forgiveness is more than an intellectual process. Part is seeing the energy we dont like in the other, in us and bringing compassion to ourselves and seeing the light in the other. Plus integrating those wounded parts of self, fully with the heart. Those work for me ❤

Many years ago I came across “The Four Agreements”( book written by his father)and it helped me a lot with improving the relationship with my coworkers at that time, but this is the first time I listen to Miguel Ruiz Jr.

Grandmas need to think before they dip the ladle in the soup and ask the child, " would you like some soup? .....if the child says no, then there is no waste, grandma or grandpa can eat the whole soup or freeze if it can be freezed...or give it to a person who need it.....our mind is there to be used not to be wasted...😊❤

This was clarity to the Max! When he said ‘you cannot give what you do not have! That s truth.! Ayahuasca pointed me to the Suketa. I am 60 plus. Gone thru alot in life. My learning is that we as humans are alone and weak & fearful .. no matter who we are.
We need to connect to the source for guidance support and His bigger wisdom .. submitting to the fact that whatever comes out way is a process the evolution of the soul /self.
