Thank you for an excellent demonstration. I will be obtaining an ALU Cab 270 awning with the sidewalls soon and you have saved me a lot of grief. Best regards.
Thank you so much for saying that. When I posted that video I thought a lot of people would appreciate it because it took several attempts for me to figure it out. Not many people have viewed that video though. Am thrilled it helped someone else!
Nice video! I have the awning and have considered the wall kit. Only other bud I have seen on it is German so let Alu Cab know about your video, it is excellent. I wonder if you have ever set it up using just a couple of the walls instead of all of them? Also how does the wall kit hold up to the wind and also does the wall kit come with the extra poles needed? Thanks again. Tom
Hi Thomas. Thank you very much for the kind words on the video! Yes, it is possible to setup any number of walls. Since the edges of each wall lash to a pole it works nicely. The entire wall kit holds up very nicely in the wind! If you want to see it in action, check out my Mosca video here: czcams.com/video/JxcqNGuPBqU/video.html I recently bought an Anemometer (wind meter) to determine how much wind the walls can take, but I've had them safely in 30 mph winds a few times. The walls have also taken some pretty serious gusts without issue, but I start to get nervous above 30mph. To your last question, yes! The poles and clips are included when you buy the wall kit. The installation couldn't be easier and can be seen in this video if you are interested: czcams.com/video/mnINfalcsDA/video.html Let me know if you pull the trigger and how they work out for you!!!
Great video. I am considering getting one of these wall kits and I am glad I saw this. For pack up I think I would try laying all the panels on top of one another square to a selected corner in the sequence they need to be for set up. I then fold/roll all the panels all at once and place into a larger duffle bag so I would never have to fight with it.
Thanks much! My AT Atlas is on order and due in October, so now I'm busily learning about all of the other bits and pieces I hope to have with it. This was very helpful, and I think I will get the tent walls in addition to the awning. Have you seen or thought of any way to keep bugs from entering via the undercarriage of the rig? It seems like a "skirt" there would be helpful. Thanks again!
Hi Angie. I've thought about a skirt but more to avoid rain, water, and wind more than bugs. The walls are wonderful but aren't as tent-like as they may appear so bugs do tend to get in there.
Well, I wish I’d seen this video before I set up my walls for the first time! Very helpful. Much appreciated.

Keyser1812 happy I could help wade through all the options. ALU Cab is really an excellent awning.
Awesome instructional video.
Glad it was helpful! Thank you!
Finally there’s a video of detailing this 🤪
Thanks much appreciated mate 👍

Glad it was helpful!
@alu-cab needs to see this!
Thank you very much!

Did you buy walls yet? I have a set of passenger side walls for sale almost new used once
That's a great idea!
Scruff this and the original video are very well done. You should reach out to Alu Cab or MULE Outfitters to highlight this. Theres a chance.
Hi Big Lo. Thank you very much for the kind words. I appreciate it a lot.
I'm not familiar with Mule Outfitters. Are they an AluCab reseller?
@@ScruffyGolden Mule Expedition Outfitters in Issaquah, WA. They're an Alu-Cab dealer.
Hi, where is the original video you speak of?
Great video! We are considering this awning & walls for our teardrop trailer also.
Is your awning the 2m or 2.6m size?
Maybe try and peg it down with the pegs while folding it in the wind

Wow the cost of awning and wall’s about 3k.
It's crazy what inflation has done to the price of frabrications like the Shadow Awn and its. walls. I agree. It's crazy.
