Looks intriguing, and I am certain while they were dying, a community of Inuit we’re off in the distance wondering why those odd people in 1907 were having such a hard time on their summer holiday.
It's like those rich white Everest climbers talking about overcoming great challenges while to locals carrying all the baggage train, it's just a Tue at work.
@@NhatHuyNg Oh yes, I missed the mountaineering craze that swept the upper class in SE Asia and Latin Americas in the 1800s. Oh wait, that was ALL Europeans. Historically, the European, English and the Americans have dominated the Mt Everest climbs with countries like Japan, Sth Korea and recently China/Inda barely making it into the club over the past decades.
@@stevens9625 oh, so now you admit that there are Japanese, Sth Koreans, Chinese, and Indians who made it to the top, not just white! Thanks for proving my point. Also, I almost thought you are a racist for thinking only white are capable of paying for the trip and all other races are just so poor and stupid to do that. But i guess now you are not a racist anymore.
Exactly my thoughts... literally thought Lighthouse, and The Grey.... also Copshop was kind of corny, and not a "very good flick" like recommended to you.... in my opinion at least... I wouldn't spend money, watch it for free if you can.
Ah so this is the alternative spinoff version, where Jamie has flashbacks of Tywin, forgets Cersei, travels North of the wall and meets Arya, looks good!
I love the stories of Icebound exploration and survival. Shackleton, Scott, Franklin, etc ... these are amazing adventures and well worth reading or even watching as movies. Looking forward to watching this and yes, its great to see some GOT faces in action again lol
I went hard into the novels about this topic last year and read every book I could get my hands on: Shackleton, In The Kingdom of Ice, Labyrinth of Ice, Alone on the Ice, The Terror (bit too much fiction, but still enjoyable)... just to name a few. So many amazing stories of the golden age of polar exploration and I'm so happy it's all starting to find it's way to the screen.
@@danichero I need to get The Terror. I saw the TV series, it was pretty good but never got round to reading the book. Thanks for the reminder. There's a good one called An Unsung Hero by Michael Smith. Its the story of Tom Crean, who was quite the character. He was with Scott and Shackleton in the explorations.
Getting serious The Terror vibes from this. Well minus the monster, but the eerie emptiness and hopelessness of the series was far more scary anyway. I have high hopes for this one!
Imagine it ends with them killing each other because of "losing minds" and that's what happened to the previous team. So no data collection just " do you belive in ghosts" work
Same, noped out of the trailer when the dog was hanging off the cliff and knew I will never watch this because I know dogs are gonna die and I refuse to see that if I can help it.
The Lighthouse meets The Terror ( a tremendous tv series that not enough people showed love to. Maybe cos it was so profoundly bleak). This looks great
Was anyone else expecting to see a Wim Hof documentary? :P All kidding aside this looks like quite the adventure. Loved Everest! Can't wait to watch this.
This is the Shackleton expedition I presume? There was another expedition around the same time by a Russian named Valerian Albanov whose ship the St. Anna got icebound. It is an incredible story if a two year self rescue where only two survived. Jon Krakauer had the novel translated from Russian. Novel is called "In the Land of White Death. Good read.
No, this is the Denmark Expedition. Lead by Ludvig Mylius Erichsen. True story and very exiting. There's been written books about the expedition. It's a fantastic pice of history.
"A Lannister always pays his debts".
I know right 😹😹😹
Dont say it. Dont fucking say it.
Jamie and his father Tywin Lannister
I came here to write this then you beat me to it :)
😂 hell yeah
Tywin lecturing Jaimie through every possible universe and reality 😂
he is 😄
This is quite LOLing! 😂🤣
good thing that Jaimie had grew his hand back , hope he wont lose it again
It's good to see father and son work in a same movie together.

I saw the thumbnail before I clicked on it and then I read this comment and heard Charle's voice. Hilarious!
Nikolaj's presence is an indicator that the film will be great!
Terribly Underrated

@Bruticon Combatron the show was great. The whole season 8 is fuckdd not his fault
If he is only good cast hard to be great maybe normal actor
Gods of Egypt ring a bell?

The men who first explored the Arctic are fucking metal. I can't even imagine the white hell they endured.
Totally. Not knowing the terrain, weather, always cold, then they run out of food… Makes ppl like Shackleton even more impressive.
Listen !! I have always thought the same thing !!!
It's good to see father and son work in a same movie together.
I’m getting the lighthouse and the grey vibes with a little snow dogs and I’m loving it!
The guy who directed The Grey has a new movie called Copshoo out. Very good flick.
CopShop

Tywin's love for Jamie transcends time and streaming networks.
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Charles Dance, I just had a war like flashback of Game of Thrones. haha
This movie looks epic, can't wait!
NICOLAZ COSTER WALDAU IS SUCH A FINE ACTOR....NEEDS MORE MAINSTREAM LEAD ROLES 🤩
Ever since I saw Nikolaj in “Shot Caller” I’ve been a fan of his work 👍🏾
Facts he really played the part great

Mr Shelby + Mr Lannister
A deadly combo 🥶🥵

GoT 's dead.... Shushh now.
And Rob Stark as Eternals and John Snow... Who unfortunately knows nothing till day 😅
Wow, looks intense. Managed to make it a thriller, horror, and mystery. Might pick this one up.
Agree, and you should.
I'll watch it. Couldn't figure out how to pick it up.
Joel from the Last of Us. He would have been perfect for that role.
I was really hoping that he would be cast as Joel. Hopefully Pedro Pascal can do the character justice tho.
I agree

Great movie. Made me go read a bunch of the original reports from the expeditions published over a hundred years ago.

@drttyu liqm It's funny, because the series was less bleak and horrible, when compared to what really happened on that expedition.
@drttyu liqm yeah looking like a cross between The Terror & The North Water….gotta be worth a watch though😂
I helped make this! Epic production! :-)
"To hope" and that look. Skepticism, the same I felt when a girlfriend would leave me and a friend tried to console me.
THAT LOOK on "to hope!" LOL
Definitely looking forward to this film; it looks absolutely riveting.
Joe Cole awesome role he played
Wow I totally agree to watch it on Netflix and it is a true story about where people are Recovering from the arctic land!
